Tipton did a great job installing our new screen door. The frame from the old one was falling off and he was able to replace that, dispose of our old screen and install the new one with no hiccups! He also did a great job with alignment, ensuring there was the perfect sized clearance under the door to keep air from entering but allowing the it to go over our entry mat. Well done!
Very professional and great communication. Martin and his team did amazing work on our new Milgard patio doors, windows and sky lights! Their quote was very competitive and I felt very confident with the work and very happy with the results! Would definitely recommend Emerald City Energy. Installation folks were kind and considerate, worked diligently and efficiently to complete our French door install faster than expected despite the rain. Setup and cleanup was great, and check-in once the doors were installed was thorough. Really good experience from start to finish, would definitely use this service again if needed!
Several of our windows had aged out, broken seals, etc. We called and had a rep come to the house to take measurements. We only needed the glass replaced not the entire window. A couple weeks later the glass arrived and a crew was sent out to do the install. Looks great! If you need windows or doors call Emerald City.
Great experience with Emerald City Energy. Tipton was professional, experienced, and did a great job installing our new door, not to mention VERY clean which I appreciated. The door shuts and opens beautifully, no gaps or problems of any kind. Would differently have them again.
Tipton and his crew did a very professional and meticulous job of installing my new sliding glass door. Everyone was friendly and courteous and made sure everything was fitted and sealed in perfectly. They even went above and beyond by reinstalling my existing roll up screen and making it work with the new door. They cleaned everything up afterwards, and my new door looks great. I am a very happy customer of Emerald City Energy Windows and doors.

I had to fire a contractor for poor performance and failure to check the quality of his work. I was left with several tasks that had to be redone. After being introduced to Emerald City Energy Windows & Doors by McLendon's Home Service, I decided to give them a try. The front end planning and quoting process was easy, clear and complete. Scheduling the project yielded a schedule that considered our needs and dependencies. The team arrived on time and got right to work. They removed a 12 foot long folding glass wall and replaced it with a 3 foot door and a 9 foot picture window. The work was performed in an efficient manner with minimum mess and disruption to my home. When they left everything functioned correctly and there was no mess. There was a delay waiting for a special trim to arrive. I took advantage of the delay to inspect and operated all the components during the wait period. What I found was precision work and attention to detail. Case in point, the drywall screws were all set at the same depth. The trim arrived, the team arrived on schedule and custom fit the trim pieces. There was an open exchange of ideas and options to arrive at a finish that looks like it has always been part of the house. Would I hire this team for another project, yes, without hesitation.
