Dr. Kourtney was attentive, personable, patient and helpful during my visit for my first-ever annual well women's exam with her. The health care system can be very challenging to navigate, even if one is trying to take a proactive stance on her wellness. I spent hours on the phone with my insurance company, lab, and Dr. Kourtney's office, trying to make sure the recommended blood tests are affordable and covered by my insurance. I ran into several road blocks, including not being able to get a clear answer from her office as to how to proceed. Dr. Kourtney proactively raised the issue with me during my visit, listened and offered to step in to help me get through the maze. Above all, I appreciate that she is battling the health care system complexity and offering a holistic approach to women's health.
Dr. Sims is phenomenal. She is one of the best doctors I've ever gone to but the check in and check out process can really try your nerves.
