Crone is our go-to contractor for all home projects and repairs. They helped us replace our old midtown windows, upgrade our flooring, built a screened-in porch, designed custom built-in shelves for our nursery, and built us a custom shoe cubby for our growing family. They're very easy to work with, which is critical for busy, working parents. I recommend them for big jobs and small. Lee Crone is great at explaining the costs of a job with transparency in a way that helped us make decisions about what we needed/wanted. His pricing has always been fair and we've never had unexpected delays or surprise costs. 10/10 recommend!
I used Crone Construction to replace the windows in a 1940's cottage. They quickly provided a very reasonable estimate and the workmanship was above expectations. New windows make a huge difference in an old house! Definitely recommend.

We had the guys at Crone Construction replace 6 windows on our circa 1978 two story home. We started with a small number of windows on the back of the house as we wanted to update the look of the windows from the original single pane,single hung windows with grids (very common in our area), to double pane, double hung replacement windows to update the look of our home. Jimmy and Justin, and all the other guys from Crone Construction were very professional, prompt, and eager to please. We were very happy with out dealings with Crone Construction prior to and the day of installation and are very happy with the look, and energy efficiency of the new windows. We are definitely going to use them again to replace the remaining, original windows.
Had my windows replaced by Crone Construction. These folks are the best in the business...professionalism, value, quality, and workmanship are all worth attributes. Simply put, from sales to installation, they're pros! I could not be more pleased.
Crone Construction replaced all of my windows with lifetime warranted vinyl replacement window. He personally supervised the entire job and explained why his method of replacement was superior to other bidders. His price was the best without all the hype and bait and switch tactics that I received from other salesmen. I can see by my monthly bills that the lower bills that I am now receiving will eventually pay for my windows. I will use Crone Construction for any other work that I have in the future.
We used Crone Construction for window replacement, a bathroom renovation, and other miscellaneous items. The employees always arrived on time and were polite. We had the outside of our home painted and the painters did a good job. We had the windows replaced and that went well, although they didn't show up the day they were supposed to install the windows because they forgot to write down the appointment. Jeff, the window guy was very apologetic at his mistake and was great to work with on install day. Our biggest problems with the company was our main representative and the employees they hired to replace wood outside our home and to do a lot of the work in the bathroom. The work was not done well and we had to ask that things be re-done or remind them of work still needing to be done again and again. They even installed the completely wrong tile in our bathroom at one point and it had to be torn out and replaced. When we would try to discuss our complaints with our representative he was dismissive and would have forgotten entire conversations we previously had. He would tell us that we had never discussed it - despite having had the conversations via text. At one point when we had numerous complaints about the quality of the work being done he completely lost his temper and told us that we were 1 of 30 jobs he was responsible for - including million dollar projects. He said that we didn't know what we were talking about and that most of our complaints were stupid. He said he "didn't need this and could cancel our contract at any time". After that conversation we contacted the owner, Lee Crone, who worked really hard to try and correct all of the mistakes that had been made. If we had never been assigned the representative we worked with, maybe our impression of the company would be different because everyone else at the company seemed great. Everyone else apologized when things went wrong and made sure the mistakes were corrected. To date, that representative has still not apologized for how he spoke to us.
It started with the phone call to Crone Construction, they were very professional to talk with. I'm a pilot by profession and punctuality is very important to me; from their first visit to the completion of the project they were always on time. We changed 23 windows in our house, I like the fact that they were not pushy when it came to sales and they gave me all the options that were available to me. I've had couple other big companies came and dealing with Jim and Justin was breath of fresh air. We are hundred percent satisfied with their services and I'd use them again for other projects.
Crone Construction…Jeff, Justin and crew did an excellent job replacing 13 windows in my home. They delivered as promised, addressed all my concerns and cleaned up both inside and out. My new windows are great. Highly recommend Crone Construction to anyone looking for new windows.
After reading positive reviews about Crone Construction from fellow Midtowners, we reached out to them for a quote on a wooden privacy fence. From the (very reasonable!) quote to project completion, the Crone team was incredibly responsive and up-front with us. (Hello, we all know that's hard to find in a contractor!) The crew was always on-time and worked hard to remove the raggedy chain link fence, remove two small trees, and put up 300+' of fencing plus a gate. They did a wonderful job, and we are already planning to have them back out to do more work for us. Could not possibly recommend them more- we've found a contractor for life.
