I went to this coffee shop after seeing it on Comedians in Cars drinking coffee with Jerry Seinfeld on Netflix. The coffee was amazing. It is super hipster, but what isn't in Portland? Simple menu and has all the essentials that you would expect. We got their cappuccino and their iced americano. Both were very delicious. They have a variety of coffee and espresso beans to choose from. There's so many coffee shops in Portland and you cant go wrong with any of them. I would recommend checking this place if you are in the neighbourhood!
The interior made of Bamboo and hardwood is so gorgeous, I love the open space and areas for stand-up workspace. Coffee is amazing as always, the pastries are definitely not fresh though.
Great coffee, although kind of a bummer that the biggest they serve is 10oz. Well decorated open space, but awkward seating. Perfect for a WFH haunt, or study escape, your basic solo spot. But not great for one on one hang outs. I probably would go elsewhere that has big girl sizes and better seating.
Coffee was good. They only have one size for lattes, 10 ounces. They had almond milk as an option for my latte.

I understand the subscription includes delivery and may offer peak freshness, but I genuinely want to support you — the roaster — as directly as possible. Could you share how pricing works and if there’s a way to purchase directly from you at a more fair price that still supports your team and your sourcing partners? Every time I'm in Portland I make sure I get to this place. Clean, refined atmosphere; even cleaner, more refined coffee; and an friendly staff that is happy to be making coffee and serving customers. Definitely deserving of all the awards that name it Portland's best coffee shop.
The coffee is great, and I love how intentional everything about coffee is: delicious, origin and processing info, freshness. The set up at the flagship store is really spacious and cool. I have yet to be impressed by the overly sweet pastries. I feel the service has been downgraded recently. At both the flagship and Hawthorne location. I feel like I'm interrupting a party for the people who work there or otherwise annoy them, even if I'm simply trying to buy a bag of beans to take home with zero to few questions on my side. Tolerable, but makes me think if it's worth the trouble
It's without a shadow of a doubt the best espresso in Portland. There are many comfortable seats available, mostly stools. Nonetheless, it is a cozy and charming atmosphere to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee on any day and time.
