This place is huge strange lol But very unique! I like it! The coffee taste was amazing! I ordered honey latte and regular coffee. Smell taste how wonderful. I would like to come back again!
This is my favorite coffee roaster in Portland. Beautiful, delicious variety of beans. I usually lean toward light roasts with bright flavors, and Coava certainly delivers on that for me. This location is cool and unique, too, sharing a spot with Bamboo revolution. Coava is 100% worth a visit!
Got a drip coffee and mocha. By-golly they are delicious. Mocha is my favorite outta the two. Also got a seahorse A.M. Gold Bar, it was so good.
Love their coffee beans, bought the Honduras beans on my recent visit and a pack of instant coffee. Definitely recommend this place. The only con is that it is a lil busy location so be prepared for a rush while ordering.
Coava lives up to the hype. Finally tried it on a Portland trip after hearing about it for years. Had a latte, batch brew, and a pour-over, plus a bag of Meaza beans (a lot of caffeine intake that day). The latte was super smooth and silky, with nice nutty notes and just a touch of acidity that actually made it brighter. Not bitter or harsh at all. The beans were exactly as described: very clean and clear flavors, lots of bergamot, black tea, and lemongrass. Bright, well-defined, and easy to dial in Solid both in-cup and at home. Would definitely come back.
Coffee was amazing, I had a cortado, and a macchiato by Nick, and a pour over Ethiopia by Ben, all drinks were super good, the friendly environment, the space and the great service and skills of both baristas was amazing. A place everyone who is passion about coffee should visit.
Hipster, laid back, and spacious coffee shop. The coffee is rich and flavorful, with the barista creating exquisite latte art. Staff is energetic and a friendly group of humans.

The coffee here is fantastic. The space is a lovely open industrial concept. It is a great space. I really enjoyed the mocha I ordered. The staff are friendly.
