CareNow Urgent Care - Downtown North Gulch

Wow! What a great place! Everyone was so incredibly friendly and check-in was easy. Parking was convenient and free. The doctor addressed my illness appropriately. Additionally, I got the prescriptions I needed and they were able to fill them in the office which was super convenient. Overall, I’m so incredibly grateful to everyone who helped me today. Thank you for your friendliness and for helping me get on the road to feeling better.

Kim was awesome! She made me feel really comfortable. She got us to the back in little to no time. Very friendly and she made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend

The staff and provider were all patient and helpful. We are out of towners who were in Nashville for CMA FESTIVAL. They treated us for poison ivy and sent our meds to the Publix next door. Great place.

My mother came in after a deep cut on her thumb and Allyson made us feel at home! She cleaned my mom up and gave us speedy and kind service. Thanks Allyson!

The front desk staff was great, but I would not recommend Dr. Silva. I was prescribed doxycycline for a toe infection before my wedding trip to St. Lucia- and he knew I was going there. He did not verbally tell me to stay out of the sun. I was also told it would be fine to have a margarita while taking it. I got very sick and had to get medical care in St Lucia.

Silva, Kireya, and Jennifer did an amazing job during my visit! The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the customer service was absolutely top tier. They were professional, welcoming, and made the entire experience great from start to finish. Highly recommend!

During our 3-hour drive to Nashville, my son managed to get a foreign object stuck in his ear. We signed in online and rushed over to Care Now, hoping for quick care so we could still make it to our event. There was about a 45-minute wait before Kyra called us back, but she was incredibly sweet and welcoming to my little guy, which immediately helped ease his nerves. Once we got into the room, she continued to be gentle and reassuring, which I really appreciated. The facility itself was clean and well maintained, which also helped put me at ease. They offered a water or a snack while we waited for the Dr which was very nice. We waited for another maybe 5 minutes before Dr. Jade came in and she was just as kind and professional. She clearly explained the plan, made sure I was comfortable with everything, and reassured us that we could take a break at any time if needed. After two tries, she successfully removed the object, and we were on our way! I’m so grateful for the staff and the care they provided today. They turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. Thank you!

I had a really great experience at this clinic. Dr. Alex and Dr. Kireya were both very attentive and professional. They made me feel comfortable and well taken care of from the moment I arrived. As a Mexican patient, I had some doubts about how the service would be, but they were incredibly kind and respectful with me. They even called an interpreter to make sure I fully understood everything, which I truly appreciated. That made a big difference and helped me feel calm and confident during my visit. I’m very grateful for their care and would definitely recommend them.

I visited CareNow Urgent Care in The Gulch for pre-employment blood work required by my new employer. What should have been a routine blood draw turned into one of the worst healthcare experiences I have ever had. On December 16, 2025 (Yes, I am just now writing this review) I arrived for my blood draw and was attended by an inexperienced technician. After attempting to draw blood from my left arm, she was unsuccessful and blew my vein, causing significant bruising, bleeding underneath the skin, and pain. Despite the procedure, no blood was collected. I was told to return the following day because a more experienced technician would be available. I returned on December 17 hoping for a better outcome. This time, the technician attempted to draw blood from my right arm. She initially inserted the needle and was able to obtain some blood. However, she was not paying attention and the needle gradually slipped out of my arm. She then said, “Oh no,” and proceeded to reinsert the needle into the same site. The pain was immediate and intense. She then began moving the needle around in an attempt to relocate the vein she had lost. The pain became so severe that I had to repeatedly ask and eventually beg her to stop the procedure altogether. Once again, the blood draw was unsuccessful. At that point, I had suffered injuries to both arms, experienced significant bruising and pain, and endured two failed blood draw attempts on consecutive days. The experience was so traumatic that I contacted my employer and requested that they arrange for me to complete the required blood work at a different clinic because I was unwilling to return to CareNow. As a healthcare professional, I understand that difficult blood draws can happen. What is unacceptable is the lack of skill demonstrated during both visits, the failure to recognize when a procedure should be stopped, and the unnecessary pain and injury caused as a result. Patients should not leave a routine blood draw appointment with blown veins, extensive bruising, injuries to both arms, and enough anxiety to avoid returning altogether. I hope CareNow reviews its training and competency standards for blood collection procedures so that other patients do not have to experience what I did.

I came in feeling absolutely terrible and went out with a smile. The staff at the urgent care in the Gulch are the most friendly and welcoming staff. I really enjoyed everyone’s presence, especially Kim. Kim is definitely a hoot! Hopefully I won’t be back anytime soon, but if I am, I hope to see my homies again :)
