The bass pro of all bass pro shops. Hotel, restaurant and even “small” aquarium inside. This is a whole experience and it’s worth a visit if you like outdoor shopping. $8 for elevator ride to the top of the pyramid.
This place was awesome!! They really did an amazing job. The fish ponds were so cool and the aquariums. They have all the best of bass pro shop that you'd expect plus more!! They have a restuarant inside and an elevator that brings you to the top of the pyramid for a view of two states and the beautiful mephis skyline!!
A MUST SEE! Amazing restoration of an abandoned beauty! The Big Cypress Lodge is an experience everyone should have. The lodge is breath taking and is an experience I will always remember. I wish it had been around when I had small children. Once you enter the lodge it's a fairy tale. The individual rooms are so comfortable, with hot tubs and separate showers and lots of room to move around. Our room overlooked the store with a balcony, complete with rocking chairs and a table for dining. Other rooms actually have outdoor space where you can enjoy the views of Memphis. Each room comes with 2 bottles of complimentary water everyday, as well as a basket of snacks to enjoy during your stay. Every room has beautiful animals and birds that have been preserved for all to see their beauty and also include an electric fireplace. It's so wonderful, it's hard to put it all into words. It's like camping/glamping without the outdoors. They have the highest freestanding elevator that will allow you to see all of Memphis and also have a wonderful meal or just a drink. Do make reservations for the roof top restaurant or you'll miss out. If you are staying at the lodge you can get tickets free each day to ride the elevator to the rooftop. Everyday is a different adventure and it was honestly the most interesting place I've ever stayed. The rooms include coffee, hot chocolate and a different view every time you walk out of your door. You also have the benefit of the Bass pro shop at your feet They also offer free shuttles to the iconic Memphis stops, but please tip GENEROUSLY? The DRIVER was amazing. All in all, if I was going on vacation, I would go here. Loved it, full spa, best restaurants and the most amazing experience.
Very cool place to visit! The outside of the pyramid speaks for itself, but very cool scenery to see inside. The rootop views are really neat. Its an incredible view of the city and the river!
Interesting place for sure! The inside is like being outside! They have 2 restaurants also, 1 upstairs and one downstairs (which we ate at). You can ride the elevator upstairs to view the city of Memphis which cost $10.
Really cool. Not a good feeling with police circling the partking lot. More store and less fun like the big store in Springfield MO. Way to much to go up to top. Literally a 10 min experience for $10 each
Hotel, restaurant with amazing view, yes you must stop by given the chance. I was pleased how easy it was to get to the pyramid. Also the food was very good. A tad expensive, and I just mean slightly. The photos speak for themselves.
I love this place. They have an observation desk a place to eat which taste amazing. They have a place to sleep. I will definitely be coming back here, to stay awhile instead of visiting just a few short hours.
No other Bass Pro will equal this one!! Just FYI, adults, eat at the restaurant at the top floor. Not knowing there was a restaurant on the top floor, we ate at the one inside (Uncle Bucks) . The food was delicious! A huge (HUGE!) aquarium is in the middle of the dining area. I noticed staff seating family with children closers to it. The kid ooo'ed and awed!! It was fun to watch them. ❤ But, I still feel ripped off!! LOL The upstairs restaurant is beautiful!! The view is AMAZING! You can stay at their lodge (Big Cypress Lodge) inside. The rooms are like tree houses or cabin-type rooms. One large enough for a huge family gathering!
That place is huge and great to visit. I really recommend to visit it. The restaurant on top was great! I choose local white fish. Taste so good. Observation deck was fun to visit also.
