On vacation and not from the area but had to check this out. Definitely worth a stop if you are an outdoor enthusiast! We liked the fish and animal displays and of course lots of merchandise at the store for outdoor activities. Would stop in again if in the area. We stayed at the hotel on site for the evening and made several trips down to look around the store. We have Cabelas/ Bass Pro back home too, so we had to check this one out too. Liked the boats on display too. Check out the observation deck its worth the cost for the views, or free if you are staying at hotel.
Nice place to check out with the family, lots to see. Very beautiful scenery inside. Large selection of just about anything outdoors related you can think of. Clothing, shoes, accessories, firearms, camping, boats, boating, at, utilities, etc... Several attractions inside to enjoy.

A Must-See Memphis Landmark – More Than Just a Store Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid is one of the most unique and entertaining destinations in Memphis. Housed inside a towering 32-story glass pyramid, this isn’t just a retail store—it’s a full-blown adventure. From the moment you walk in, you’re immersed in a wilderness-themed wonderland. The indoor swamp, complete with towering cypress trees, live alligators, and fish-filled aquariums, sets the tone for an unforgettable experience. Elevated walkways let you explore the habitat up close, making it a hit with families and nature lovers alike. The shopping experience is top-tier, offering everything from fishing and hunting gear to camping supplies and outdoor apparel. But what really sets this place apart are the attractions:
Service was insanely long. No fault of server, they need server kiosk so they don’t have to run to the other side of the store to process payments and put orders in. I went during a Sunday afternoon and they seemed extremely short staffed and extremely miss managed. For the amount of revenue this place should make it shouldn’t have tables being held in place by beer cans. Food was 7/10 view was nice so I guess that’s what you’re really paying for here. Also 8 dollars for a 12oz can of craft beer is kinda wild. Anyways had a decent time spent 100$ was okay. Might come back.
I have visited her before, I still love the whole concept of aquarium indoors. However the redesign of the facility was somewhat overwhelming with the all the tin blocking the view from the upper stories. To top it off there seems to be alot less merchandise and choices. It feels too down sized, and more commercialized than ever before. I still love it here and will revisit the next time I come through.
You haven't really been to Memphis if you haven't experienced this bonkers piece of architecture! It's a massive pyramid with a fake bayou swamp inside, everything you need for your next outdoor adventure, a hotel, a bowling alley, and a panorama platform with a fancy restaurant at the top. It's truly one of a kind, and it needs to be seen to be believed.

The Memphis Pyramid is absolutely breathtaking and a true city landmark. Its scale and design are impressive both from the outside and inside, and it instantly stands out on the skyline. Visiting feels like stepping into a one-of-a-kind destination that blends architecture, entertainment, and retail all in one place. The combination of outdoor retail, aquarium-style displays, and massive open spaces makes it really fun to explore. The boating center section is especially interesting, showcasing a wide range of boats and outdoor gear all in one place. Even if you’re not shopping, it’s worth visiting just to take in the architecture and interior design of the building itself. A truly memorable stop in Memphis.
