It is a uniquely different in what it offers from produce to meats. It is heavily Hispanic leaning but still also has many of the staples you find at other grocery locations. Highly recommend!
My groceries are just thrown in the cart after I pay for them the cashiers and sackers spend more time talking than their job. The people park wherever they want security doesn't do anything. What really made me mad us they plowed the snow into the handicap parking but the employee parking is clear. With this being the only supermarket in the area I will start driving to other areas
Great market just outside KC K downtown area. Lots of ethnic food choices, great butcher counter, wide selection of all your favorites. Prices are reasonable.
It wasn't a good experience at all. The checker of my line got caught up in a conversation with the woman in front of me, which I know from experience happens all the time. Its when he carried on that conversation for several minutes despite me waiting to be checked out. We made eye contact several times but to no avail. I have worked in the service industry for over a decade and I know that treating a customer as if they are invisible or unimportant is not good service. Additionally, none of the other checkers seemed fazed by it. After being ignored for what seemed like 5 minutes, I simply took my items to the next lane, checked out, and walked out of the grocery store at the same moment as the more important fellow shopper.
Wide selection of products. This store has nice bakery n produce dept. The only drawback is trying to get in and out of the parking lot. Too busy of store not to have an extra stoplight added or separate entrance
It's a great place but the prices are very expensive for something that shouldn't be that price. Like who's going to pay $5 for each cereal. But it is a not a good replica of a Mexican store and they have horrible customer service.
The lady at self checkout help me so much. I forgot my pin too my debit card and the self check machine would not let me check of using a non pin transaction. It was so embarrassing (it was$11) and she was really nice about it.
They have good sales and the store is USUALLY in decent order, but f*** if the staff aren't the rudest people I've ever encountered at a grocery store. I'm sorry if I INCONVENIENCED you because your da*n self checkout isn't working properly and you had to actually help someone instead of playing on your phone...
This grocery store is close to home and makes life alot easier when I just need a few things. The past year when going there I feel like due to my race and my language preference im not wanted there. Many times while paying if I go through the regular checkout my payment option has to be changed because they assume im using ebt. Im always spoken to in Spanish and although I know a few words thats not my givin language. I have no issues with what language someone speaks but if an American cant get hired if they dont speak Spanish then why is it ok to hire someone who dont speak/ chooses not too speak English?? I feel like if your not part of the Mexican culture your not wanted there. Ill continue to shop but ill use self checkout always.
This place is always packed to the gills the parking lot is a nightmare as everyone just walks down the middle of the lanes. It caters specifically to the Hispanic demographic as that is the area it's in. So if you have high anxiety definitely avoid this place in fact avoid the whole shopping center.
