Employees are very friendly and helpful in locating the items that I am wanting. Your customer service is beyond approach. Prices could be better but then again that could be said about other stores. And it's nice to see some of the individuals who were employed at the Price Chopper at 41st and State Ave which was closed employed moved to your store. Shopped at that Price Chopper for years and have come to know most of them.
I haven't been here much in the past few years...but it is definitely a full service supermarket...very large produce department, an isle of low priced products ( used to be called the dollar aisle...but inflation killed that)...but still most items are only around $1.25....there is also a large area for Hispanic products, and they even have the always delicious Shatto milk
I agree. They just opened but this was a terrible experience. We were forgotten 3 times. Server didn't bring waters while we're waited for the drinks she ordered from the bar. I had to get her attention 3 times to bring us water, then to get our drinks from the bar. To even take our order she came to the table to say they were working on our food when she had forgotten to take our order and even came to the table to pick up our menus. It was just a terrible experience and we had to wait 45 minutes for us to eat. We won't be back!!!!
Prices somewhere between Aldi and HyVee.(closer to Aldi on most things). Good selection. Produce is always fresh, bakery and meat departments are good. Large selection of Hispanic foods with around 15% (probably more) of the shelf space stocked with imported Mexican products. Make sure to check out the $1 dollar isles while you're there. Friendly staff. My biggest complaint is that their frequent shopper rewards system is always down. They have a different reason every week why it's down. I've been shopping with them for 4 months and it's worked maybe 25% of the time. They will gladly credit your account with the points you earned manually but you have to see the manager and then wait while he/she goes to their office to document the transaction. I suspect the process has been designed this way intentionally knowing that most people will not follow through to get the points which in turn saves the store from having to give away free groceries when the points are redeemed. Overall, it's a good store though. I recommend checking it out.
Beautiful store with an amazing produce section. Unfortunately employees didn't seem too friendly. But possibly due to a busy holiday weekend. I understand how it can be in those situations. So ill give em 5 stars!
This store catered to the Latino community. Their flour and corn tortillas a trash and very good. Pan bolillo and pan dulce is very fresh.i don't have any negative really. I have been coming since they opened and it's cool.12/28/18
I love that they put speed bumps but the bumps are way to big my car is a acura and sits low and going as slow as I could it scrape underneath my car definitely don't recommend going here anymore unless you have a car that's not supper low !!!
The best fresh tortillas. They’ve also got great tamales. If you need ingredients for Mexican cooking this is your place. The meat department is great too. I’m not so impressed with the deli. They don’t slice the meats and cheeses to your preference and there might be a language barrier. Otherwise this is a good neighborhood grocer for KCK.
Been twice now that I wanted a burrito from the deli and the lady didn't want to serve me because I don't speak Spanish. I asked for a burrito and she said no rice and I said ok make me a burrito without rice and she said no burritos. The first time she had to get someone to translate for me. She clearly didn't want to serve me a burrito with meat and beans and it was plenty left i could see. Never buy from this place again. And she isn't the only lady who did this to me so it's been 3 times now.
Came in yesterday to get some stuff for dinner, good selection of products from meats to ice cream of many, many flavors. Sometimes they be packed with bunch of people so if you go go early before times like dinner time. But… Only issue I had is with cashiers the girl we got tonight was very unprofessional. get to check out don’t even get a hello from annalize, then was on her phone while we paid and not even ab”have a good day”. Just think people working with people should be kind and professional made me feel unwanted.
