An absolutely horrible experience at this dealership. I saw a Jeep on their website and called to see if it was still available. I spoke to Austin who, after a brief hold, assured me it was and asked if I would like to make an appointment to take a look and a test drive. I agreed, then received a confirmation email that included a " can't wait to meet you" from Austin. When I arrived, an hr later, there was no Austin and little information on the vehicle I was there to see. I was handed off to another salesman who had no idea about the Jeep I was looking for, but was quick to point out a couple others, of course for more money! Eventually I was told the vehicle was not there, a classic attempt at a bait and switch!! When I called the dealership and asked to speak to Austin , I was told, sure hang on a minute. To then be told ,oh no he works offsite and you have to leave a message and he will call you back! This was all either, total incompetence, or in my opinion, pure deception just to get me there. To top it all of the Jepp is still listed on their website. Buyer beware!!! Update--- not sure what is perplexing about my review. I called about a specific vehicle, was told it was there, made an appointment to see it, and then it was not there when I arrived an hour later. The person I made appointment with, who told me he would be meeting me, was not even on-site. The salesman tried pointing me to other jeeps that were more expensive than the one I went to look at. Seems pretty straightforward to me

They are great until you sign off the deal. Terrible with servicing (cutting off 3 stars for this) Bought my first car from Auto factory (2011 Ford Escape). The purchase was great and I was excited about it and they made the whole buying process easier to understand. But soon after the purchase, things started falling apart. The car would frequently cry out engine issues, and while this was expected consider it was already over 100k miles, the extent and frequency caught me by surprise. My experience with their service department was too bad. They’d keep the car in their garage without providing a loaner car and would often make things worse or introduce a new issue in the car. After 4-5 times of being weeks without my car and going back and forth following up about the new issues, I decided to show my car to another mechanic only to find out the car engine had more serious engine issues (since the beginning) Luckily, my warranty covered most of the expenses but this consumed a lot of time and energy, which one generally lacks while settling into a new city.

The Auto Factory only sells quality pre-owned cars. The office is so clean and the team is friendly and welcoming. Make sure you see Donald Durand! He's a top-notch Salesman who has been in the automotive business most of his life and truly cares about the customer.

I want to thank Mike and all the staff at Auto Factory Peabody for making my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee purchase smooth and seamless. No Pressure shopping, great communication through out the whole process!

Gave this place a try because my banker said they're highly recommended. After spending 4 hours dealing with Capital One squaring away the terms of my deal, I proceeded to the dealership to see the car I was interested in. They said it was available. By the time I got there I was told "oh that sold already"....it had been less than 30 minutes. The team was kind and seemed interested in helping. My first red flag was when I was told I had to be approved for a vehicle before I could even do the test drive! My gut said No and so did my kid, but against my better judgment, I gave it a try. Told the salesman, Bill, what terms the bank gave me. After about an hour he returns saying "You have to put $3k down" I spoke with my bank the next day and they told me they approved me for the vehicle with nothing down. Bill told me before leaving "I've been doing this over 30 years, you'll never get anybody to approve you with the terms you're asking!" despite having taken care of it with the bank prior to even looking at vehicles. Next day I went to a different dealership....got a newer, better, more expensive vehicle WITH the terms the bank gave me originally, taking my trade in and no money down!! Bank said they were likely telling me I had to put that much down so they could increase the price of the vehicle. Regardless of their reasons.....don't do ANY finances on a vehicle before being able to test drive it, pay attention to your before and after sale prices and trust your gut!

Just bought a Ford F-350 from Auto Factory and had an amazing experience! Steve and Brian went above and beyond to make the entire process easy and hassle-free. They were super helpful, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was smooth from start to finish. The best stress free car buying experience I’ve had. Car was priced right, sales was low pressure. Nice clean place. Those are pros Price was of car was 19000 and they came out with a sheet that read 19500 On the salesman’s computer it clearly said 19k so not sure where 19,500 came from. The issue was fixed but it didn’t rub me right. I suppose partially my fault for the following: -turned on AC—car smelled of cigarettes. Thought this might be acknowledged when the car was detailed but I think the car was only vacuumed and wiped down a bit interiorly. -rear window illegally tinted (I just didn’t notice) -no car jack in car (when I needed it..) Needed repairs shortly after buying, simple issue, cost a few hundred dollars. Had it fixed elsewhere bc Peabody is far away. Auto factory couldn’t help with the cost of repairs, which I understand to a degree, but still sucked for me.

This was my first time ever buying a car, and the team at Auto Factory in Peabody made the entire process unbelievably easy and stress-free. Brian and Rob were genuine, honest, and sooo patient with all my questions. They made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way — no pressure, no games, just real people who care about their customers.
