Forced anesthesia on my wife withing minutes of arriving at the hospital during a birth. Then signed a consent form on her behalf after saying they "thoroughly reviewed her medical history and thoroughly explained the procedure and risks." This conversation took place over the course of 45 seconds before they put they under so there was nothing thorough about it. They came back after the fact and said there was no need to get consent because she wasn't capable of giving consent. My wife was completely conscience and of sound mind during this process. They will force whatever they want on you then bill you for "excellent" service. My wife has suffered memory and clarity issues after the rushed procedure. I would avoid them at all costs!!

Very professional. This group took very good care of my daughter while having her ACL repaired. I was allowed to stay and hold her hand. The anesthesiologists explained what he was doing. I felt comfortable leaving her in his hands. Yes, I received a bill of $210 after insurance paid 4,554 but this is the world we live in.

Unfortunately you won't see this review before ever hearing of AMG, like me, you won't have a choice in the matter will get your healthcare procedure done during which some AMG provider will do their part and then the billing fun will begin.... These people do not want to work with you. They just want your money ASAP and will do whatever it takes to get it. They have a lawyer that you will hear from within just a few months of your procedures and will do nothing but set court dates with the sole intent of getting one where you won't show up so that they can garnish your wages. That is these guys in a nutshell.

Absolutely deplorable billing practices. Never pay in cash, keep every receipt, keep every eob, don't trust anything the billing department tells you. We are paying a bill from 4 years ago we paid in cash they say they never received. So now it's either pay it again or fight it in court. They put you in a position you can't win. Avoid at all cost or be prepared to fight the billing department for the rest of your natural life.

I had a c-C-section, got the bill and paid it. Then I received another bill for service in October for a date nowhere near when I utilized their services (I had my c-section in August). I called, was told they’d review it and just received a call from a collections agency.

They set up their billing so we would have to pay our co-pay to multiple anesthesiologists rather than a single co-pay for one surgery. There was no talk of that before or on the day of surgery, just a surprise double bill in the mail. While they told us that it should be set up so that they would split a single co-pay between the anesthesiologists, once they were on the phone with the insurance company they reversed course and said that there was nothing they could do. If they can double it, can they have three providers and triple it? Can they keep going higher just so they can be paid more?

EDIT: I set up a payment plan for my most recent bill. Apparently the Nashville location never relayed this information properly to the HQ or home location of this company because AMG tried to send me into collections. To top it off, the Nashville location is nearly impossible to properly get a hold of to make payments. Their inability to just answer a phone or return calls in a timely manner have resulted in a couple of late payments on my part. The home company understood this and took the late marks off of my account. They also told me to just call the home office from now on to make payments as a result of this. I've had to deal with this company twice thus far. They are extremely rude over the phone regarding billing. No greetings of any kind, just immediately "What's your account number." You have to remind and near demand confirmation numbers for payments made to the company as they don't give them to you right away, as should be standard. We're nothing but numbers to them and they don't give a single damn about us. Can't wait to have my bill paid off and not have to deal with these people ever again hopefully.

Seems to be the same experience as many. They billed me without filing insurance. I called them and gave them insurance information and they said they'd file. They never did and kept sending bills. I could no longer ever get them to pick up the phone when I tried to call. I called my insurance company who contacted them directly and my insurance company said I owed a significant amount less. They said they'd rebill me and to wait. I got another bill for the same original amount and they still have not filed with my insurance. Their bill shows they filed with insurance, but they didn't when you check the details of my insurance claims and my insurance company also shows they haven't filed so they are defrauding customers. Now they have threatened to send me to collections. This is a very bad and unethical company from all I can tell and it's unfortunate you have no choice in dealing with them. If they turn me over to collections I'll be calling a lawyer.

If I can give negative number of stars, I would! My mother had a surgery back in last November, since then I kept receiving bills from them. I made numerous calls to straight things out, telling them that they need to file her insurance. They kept promising that they would and I would not receive bills anymore. However the bills kept coming. Today I called them again and I was told that they sent this account to collection agency. If they did the right thing, they should be paid a long time ago. I don't understand how this incompetent company survived. I feel sorry for the doctors working for them. Usually when people talk about bad service, Comcast pops up right way, now, congratulations to AMG, you beat Comcast.

I recently had Major Back Surgery at St Thomas Ascension Hospital Midtown. My anesthesiologist was a Young man of Kurdish decent. He was Great to have on my team. Positive Upbeat and Funny to start the process of preparing me for Surgery. I called him my Crazy Kurd. He eased my tension of going through this complicated back surgery. He covered everything with me and got me totally relaxed for the procedure. I'm Grateful, Thankful for the Crazy Kurd and his Amazing talent of preparing me for surgery. Thanks Brother, I will always remember you. THE BEST IN ANESTHESIA !!! 🤣🤣🤣
