I am disgusted that I get knocked out ONE TIME, but they can bill me twice for it. How is that any way to treat a patient? No mention of this prior to surgery! The double bills are identical! Beware before you use this service!
Make sure you keep record of ALL payments including who you speak to- time, day, second. Everything. They will say you didn’t make them. I’m at the point where I may have to take them to court over $500. I wish I never had my epidural done with my daughter- it’s not worth having to deal with these HORRIBLE people. TRY TO AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!
If I could give zero stars I would. I needed to pay these folks for anesthesia services for a surgery I had. On their website I broke up the amount into payments, and the last payment never came out of my bank. Rather than contacting me to let me know they have not received the last payment they just sent my account to collections. When I called to ask about it, Ashley was less than helpful. If they had called or sent me a letter that they had not received the last payment (which is confusing to me because it was set up on autodraft and there was plenty of money in the account to cover the payment) I would have been happy to pay it, but instead I got a notice from collections. The customer experience, or better put, the lack thereof will have me trying to avoid using them for anything in the future.
AMG is a scam business that will not auto-cancel payment plans, even if pay off your bill. My 3 month payment plan ended on 12/21/2021 but a balance of $520 still showed in the portal. I received an email on 1/20/2022, stating that an upcoming payment is scheduled on 1/21/2022. I called AMG billing on 1/20/2022 and they "could not find my account" and would call me back later that day. The payment of $520 was processed on 1/21/2022. I called back on Monday 1/24 and they manually cancelled the payment plan and said the refund would process in 30 days. I would never use a payment plan nor provide any credit card information to AMG ever again. I'd rather pay a collections company than AMG. Furthermore, I will refuse care from anyone that is employed by AMG.
Like many of the other commenters here, my experience with their billing department has been awful. AMG provided my epidural for the birth of my daughter in December and I received a bill for around $230 after insurance, which I paid in March. In April, I received the bill again, so I called the office. They stated that they didn't have a record of my payment, so I asked how I could send proof. Apparently, even though it is 2019, I had to fax proof over, which I did. I heard nothing from them. Then in May, I got the bill again. Ok, maybe the fax didn't go through. So I called again, explained the situation, and the lady I spoke to said to fax it again and she'd call me if it didn't go through. You can probably guess where this is going...no call, and I have my fax report saying it went through, so I figure OK, great, this is done. They sent me to collections in July. For I bill I paid. That I tried to provide proof of twice. Write down all payments made, confirmation numbers and who you speak to-then follow up because they do not have it all together in the billing department. My only consolation is that the anesthesiologist who actually performed my epidural was lovely - so at least there's that.
