Alamo Rent A Car

Had a great experience renting from Alamo. Every staff I interacted with was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable (Neem was especially amazing). I reserved my vehicle MINUTES before driving it for a fraction of the price compared to the other rental companies at the same airport. The car was super clean, comfortable, and got me where I needed to go. The drop off experience was super easy and I would 1000% do this again.

Mixed experience: Great garage staff, but terrible front desk service at the lobby I rented a car with Alamo at BOS from 6/28 to 7/1. The experience was a complete mixed bag—the garage staff was flawless, but the front desk service at the Rental Car Center lobby was incredibly disappointing and neglectful. ❌ The Bad (Lobby Counter): After taking the airport shuttle to the RCC lobby, I just wanted to ask a quick question about where to head next to pick up my car, as I had already completed my booking online. There was absolutely no line at the Alamo counter, yet the agent completely ignored me. When I stepped up to ask, they brushed me off and told me to wait. A moment later, still with no other customers in line, the agent simply started chatting with someone else, completely ignoring my presence. Frustrated, I ended up asking the counter of a competing brand just to find out where to go. This frontline service was highly unprofessional. ⭕ The Good (Garage & Car Pick-up): Fortunately, once I got to the garage, the experience completely changed. The staff handling the pick-up and return were extremely detailed, helpful, and had great attitudes. On that floor, brands share the fleet, meaning you can freely choose any car within your reserved category regardless of the brand stamp. Everything from that point on went smoothly. Verdict: The garage team saved the day. If you’ve already checked in online, bypass the lobby counter if you can and head straight to the garage to save yourself some frustration.

This was by far the best car rental experience I've ever had and I actually have car rental memberships where picking up your car rental still required me to stand online. With Alamo in Boston I was able to check in online hours before my rental. I filled out what insurance I wanted or didn't want. Alamo had all my information. I was able to skip the line and go right down to the car rental garage. I was greeted with a hello and a smile from a representative who pointed out the cars for me to pick one. I immediately got in one and left. On my way out I showed my drivers license and credit card. The rep said have a great day and with a smile he handed me a business card with his name and a phone number if I should need anything during my rental. I couldn't believe it! I remember saying years ago, whichever car rental company figures out how to make things smooth for people will do way more business than all the other companies. I think Alamo was the first to get on board. I remember flying all the way to Hawaii and after long hours of flying I get off the plane and I still had to go stand in a long line for an hour and a half in the heat waiting to talk to a representative who wants to talk me into buying all kinds of insurance I don't need or want before I can get my reserved rental. Not the way to start a much needed vacation. Congratulations Alamo for figuring out how to smooth line things for your customers.

I requested a car with good mileage. The attendant helped me locate a beautiful red Toyota Camry Hybrid/EV. I averaged 55 mpg over my 6 day rental period. The process was easy; the attendants were courteous and helpful. I will use Alamo again.

We had a reservation with another company and when we got to the airport to pick up the van at 11pm, there was a long line and only 1 attendant. In our observation it would have been approximately 1 1/2 hours before we received our rental. I was with my wife and 3 daughters and wasnt super excited to spend that much time in an airport to start our vacation. I got on a rental car website which gave me an option of a similar van with Alamo and we had our van in less than 10 minutes. The next day I created an account with Alamo and now will forever be a customer. Thrilled, you saved our vacation. Oh, and it was $350 less expensive.

Great service on Boston! Was met immediately at the site to pick up my vehicle and given a helpful overview of my choices and then ushered out of the lot with a friendly farewell from Regina. Highly recommend using Alamo here!

My wife and I were so happy and surprised when we saw the young lady who was assisting us, she took time to explain us about the vehicle 🚗. We had some difficulties to pair our IPhone with the vehicle She was already left then we called another one she came in and noticed there was some technical issues with the vehicle Then she asked if we wanted another one ☝️ we said yes then we picked up a new car less then a second she helped us setting the WiFi pairing with our phone 📞 This is the first time I used Alarmo in Logan Airport As a Costco Customer member I will continue using your services and will encourage my friends and family members to do the same Continue doing the good job 👏 A plus for the staff who welcomed us at the garage 🙏👏

Nice to be able to praise a rental car experience. Boston Logan Alamo was the best rental that I’ve had in a long time. Friendly knowledgeable staff got me set up getting the car, and the return process was smooth and efficient. Final charge was exactly as expected. Look to using them in the future.

Excellent service from Alamo. Very small queue at pick up compared to the other companies and the paperwork was dealt with by a very efficient and friendly lady, Xio. The car itself, a mustang as requested only has 2000 miles on the clock and was everything I expected for the c. 400 miles I did. Drop off was also extremely easy and efficient. I think Alamo are currently top of my list for hiring a car in the US.

I always rent with Alamo. The price is always good, customer service is top notch, and I like being able to skip the line. I never have issues when returning the car and get in and out quickly. Boston wasn’t any different from other airport locations in encountered. Alamo is always my first choice when renting a car
