Alamo Rent A Car

I prepaid for my car rental to get better pricing. I was shocked that I had to an extra $67 just for picking the car up 1 hour early. The pickup counter only had 2 agents working when I arrived and there were about 10 people in line. 2 days before a major holiday you would think Alamo would have more staff on hand. The agent I spoke to was very polite and helpful as were others that assisted me with getting my rental. I was able to get a hybrid and was very happy with the car. Mileage was great and the car handled well. Overall I would rent from them again just beware of hidden fees.

I recently reserved a car through a third-party for a trip going from the US to Canada. But I was not asked by the third-party where I was going, when I finished all my registration with Alamo, I got to the drive out window and chatted with the gal and told her we were going into Canada at that point she told me I couldn’t take the car that I had previously requested. It was a SUV so I had to turn around and get a regular sedan car.. Honestly, I wasn’t too happy with the car because I’m used to an SUV but in the long run, the mileage was great on it and it drove really nice. when we got back to the car drop off the gentleman that helped me, his name was Jesus, I was just gonna blow it off and not even say that I was not happy with the whole situation, it wasn’t Alamos fault. It was actually Expedia’s. Anyways, Jesus kept saying no we need to make it right we need to make it right, please tell me what happened. so I told him the situation he said we will fix that. We will make it right for you, to your satisfaction and they did just that !!!! so from now on I think I will definitely reserve straight through Alamo and not through a third-party . The Alamo team at Logan Airport was wonderful! Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and very helpful! Alissa, the team leader went above and beyond when she provided me with a luggage cart. I was travelling alone and was burdened by many suitcases. Her offer and support was greatly appreciated. Incredible experience from start to finish. Gal at check-in counter was so friendly. Gentleman that assisted me choosing my car was engaging. Keith, the manager at Logan airport Alamo was ready and waiting during drop off, asking many questions about the car and my experience. He really valued my feedback.! I wish that all the Alamo rental locations had employees that go the extra mile. Thank you!

Everything started out fine. Quickly got our car (Audi Q5). Young man at rental facility was extremely polite and helpful. Nice car until it started to overheat on the Intertstate. Called Alamo. It took them about four hours to figure out how to get us another car. We had to drive to an Enterprise location and wait -- but they gave us a Mustang Convertible as a replacement to use for the remainder of our trip. It was fun. Everyone was very nice. The only issue was the four hours we lost.

While renting a car at Logan is a logistical nightmare, we had a great experience with our Jeep from Alamo. Our vehicle was almost brand new and was extremely clean. The employees were extremely friendly and went out of their way to locate our rental and bring it to us. Returning was smooth and again friendly and helpful staff

Had a great experience with Alamo. I picked them specifically because their reviews mentioned significantly better customer service than many of the other rental companies in the building. The employees were friendly, fast, and efficient. They had a good and diverse selection of cars (we picked an SUV). The car was clean and drove well. The pickup and drop off process was fast and super easy. Our car had a funky smell whenever we used the AC, and when I casually mentioned it to the lady at the return counter, she immediately refunded some money as a courtesy. Fantastic service and will definitely return here in the future if I am landing at Logan.

Overall, I was very impressed with Alamo. We were very happy with our elite SUV rental, which we purchased at a very comparable cost to other economy rentals from other rental companies. We encountered a bit of an issue when I left my driver's license at the garage, but Mateo went above and beyond. He was able to courier my driver's license to my hotel in time for my check-in (we had already left the aiport rental location and were stuck in traffic an hour away, so returning for it wasn't possible for us at the time). I was impressed with the quality of the vehicles and the quality of service, and willingness of Alamo to troubleshoot our issues to make sure we had a good experience.

Alamo Rent a car is very well run. The staff of young people are always friendly and helpful in every way and willing to accommodate me in my requests as well as help me figuring out how to maneuver out of the airport. I can only say wonderful things about how I always rent from Alamo and am happy every single time. I highly recommend them wherever you may be going!
