Alamo Rent A Car

Traveled April 18-22 for the Boston Marathon. Our rental experience with Alamo-Boston airport was smooth, simple, and we received freindly helpful service at the pickup location. The car was clean, and additional toddler car seats were easy to setup in the car. The van was clean and a very good deal. Drop off was super efficient, and we were greeted by a friendly representative.

1 star. Returned my rental to Alamo Boston Logan on May 21st at exactly 10:51 AM after a completely normal business trip. No accidents. No damage. No incidents whatsoever. Then during return, the bald employee handling the inspection starts implying there may be hood damage “like someone jumped on it.” Mind you, this conversation is happening in a dark garage while I’m standing there completely confused because I KNOW nothing happened to this vehicle during my rental. If you’re going to speak to customers about possible damage claims, be certain before you start planting that kind of idea in someone’s head. Customers shouldn’t be left wondering whether they’re about to get blamed for something they didn’t do based on vague speculation and “it looks like” comments. What’s interesting is that after “further investigation,” management later emailed me confirming they would NOT pursue any damages after all. So why was I being pressed so hard for in the first place? The whole experience felt sloppy, unprofessional, and unnecessary. Situations like this are exactly why people don’t trust rental car companies. To the employee involved: Be better. Customers are paying serious money and traveling for work, family, and life obligations. Throwing around possible damage accusations without certainty is not something to take lightly. And to everyone renting cars: TAKE VIDEOS OF EVERYTHING before leaving the lot and before returning the vehicle. Every panel. Every angle. Because apparently you can do absolutely nothing wrong and still end up standing there defending yourself. Never again.

People friendly Helpful Showed me to my car annd introduced themselves. Asked anything can help with. HUNTER introduced himself when I returned car. Very nice friendly. Wanted make sure everything went ok. I usually used Budget but they didn't have any cars this weekend. Thus used ALAMO this time!!! Now heading out this weekend and weekend after!!! Thank you for great experience.

We were in a real bind. Flight was cancelled-no flight out for a few days, the lady at the desk was thoughtful and extremely helpful. Alamo was reasonably priced compared to others. We got our car right away. It was a Nissan Altima in mint condition. Thank you for saving us!

Service at the counter was quick which was great! Wish we had examined the car a little closer before we selected it. It was pretty worn and beat up by previous drivers. The maintenance light also came on in the middle of our trip. Luckily no issues but that’s always unsettling. Probably just needed basic service but honestly that shouldn’t happen.

The Alamo staff and the car could not have been better. We had a problem with hooking up our cell with the car GPS, but the person who gave us the card was able to get it working in another card and it worked great the entire trip. The desk person to the exit person, along with the person that assisted could not have been nicer or more helpful. Returning the car could not have been easier or faster. Highly recommend based on this one rental

We had not rented from Alamo in the US in a while. This was a 11-day, one-way rental from BOS to BTV. We were very pleasantly surprised at our greeting at Logan airport. We had a go directly to your car reservation and young ladies escorted us the whole way. Very nice service by the standards of any car rental agency. The car itself was not great, but it worked except for a slow leak in one tire which I had to fill during the rental. When I returned the car at BTV 11 days later, I reported this just to let them know. They were very apologetic and actually put a nice discount on final charge (without my asking). Altogether Alamo delivered a much unexpected level of good service even if the car was a bit past its prime.

I recommend this car rental company; they don't charge you surprise fees, and their vehicles are new and in excellent condition. I am a loyal customer, and I love renting my cars from them.

Alamo at the Boston Airport was nothing short of easy, nice, and affordable. I have used rental cars in Boston before but never with Alamo. The experence was not like this one, and I will not use anyone else now. Antwoine at the front desk was so nice and so quick, even at 1am! The line was not long at all and my car was ready to go when I got there. The woman who got us in the car was a sweetheart and was all excited for us since we were going to the World Cup Festivities. She even said she would root for my husbands team, Scotland! She was a delight. The woman checking us out of the garage was very nice and quick to get us on our way! I am very happy with out experience and will travel with Alamo again! Thank you!

Can’t say enough good things about our rental out of Logan Boston Airport we rented a mini van that was clean spacious and your employees loaded are luggage and we’re so very kind. We had a dead battery panicked cause we hate a tour reservation in Newport RI called the Alamo customer service and we had a service company there in less than 15 minutes, and we made our tour. I am now a loyal Alamo customer will rent from you forever. Great experience well trained staff great customer service. I give you a A++++++
