I had the best experience using ZHI RESTORATIONS. Provided me with the satisfaction no other construction group could in the whole nj. The Owner was very kind and very professional. gave me a reasonable price and he is very responsive, arriving whenever I called and being able to sort out the issue as soon as possible. The team was also great, they know what they are doing and did very clean work. Overall, I am very satisfied with the services ZHI RESTORATIONS provide and I recommend them for any type of work you need done.

Home owner beware. I would give them zero stars if I could. We hired them to do the front face of our home. They used cement instead of mortar on our historic home, took half the pay, and never came back to finish the job. They were aware of the mess they did, but refused to come fix it. We hired another contractor, JP, and he couldn't believe the terrible workmanship done by this company. They destroyed the brick face by using cement, and to fix their shoddy work, would take twice as much as the original quote. We should have gone after them for compensation, but we were so upset, and knew that it would just languish in court, and decided to take the high road and move on. Please think twice before you hire them. They kept $10k, and refused to finish the work. Update: It's funny how a response is posted immediately when a review is posted, but many weeks of calling you directly, when you did the work, went unanswered. 293 5th Street. You're working on Jersey Ave/5th Street. Not hard to find us. We would like our money back. The entire neighborhood saw your shoddy worked and made note to not use your services. Update: Two weeks after providing address no response. Am I surprised? Of course not. I lived this a while back, as my post states. Again, HOME OWNERS BEWARE.

Our condo association had a fantastic experience working with ZHI on the restoration of our historic brownstone in Hoboken. The project included removing a stucco veneer and restoring the original masonry of the front facade, repointing the brick and architectural details, restoring our front entrance, and fully repairing and repainting the metalwork, railings, and ceiling beams of our rear balconies. They also included an engineer’s certification of the structural integrity of our balconies per Hoboken’s city requirements, along with a 25 year warranty for the work they did. The quality of their work was excellent, and the finished product completely transformed the look of our building while preserving its original character. What really set ZHI apart was their communication and professionalism. As the president of our HOA, this was my first time managing a major building remodeling, and Ali was outstanding to work with throughout the project - always responsive, proactive, and patient in answering all of my questions. He kept us informed every step of the way, worked collaboratively with our HOA, and made sure any concerns were addressed quickly. They continuously went above and beyond to meet our expectations despite many of our requests going outside of the scope of our original agreement. It’s clear they take enormous pride in their reputation and quality of work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ZHI to anyone looking for a restoration contractor, and we’d gladly work with them again.
