We recently hired ZHI Contractors to work on the facade of our historic home, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, they were exceptionally professional, timely, and communicative. We really appreciate their thorough approach to every step of the project. They made sure to go through all the correct channels to secure the necessary permits from the historic society, which gave us confidence that the work would be done properly and be compliant. ZHI refinished my stoop for $11K. The price was high, but they were a pleasure to deal with--both the owners and the workers they sent to do the job--and the craftsmanship was top notch. I won't know if I'm really satisfied with the job until a few years from now when I see if cracks develop and, if so, if they'll follow-up as promised and take care of them for me. But based on my experience so far, I'd recommend ZHI highly.

Zhi restored my brownstone facade. Professional with very high quality work. Scaffolded, then stripped 3inches old brownstone plaster, applied scratch coat and then final brownstone, crafted new details, window surounds and architectual details. Maintained consistent historical coloring throughout. Installed new entrance blue stone stairs, patio and coping. All at a fair budget. Well done. Would definately recommend.

I hired ZHI Restoration to do pointing and replacing new lentils , removing old red bricks and replacing them with new ones on my building which I was putting off for many years until I finally found this company and they did an amazing job on my home, I couldn’t ask for better service. They were very generous to find red bricks to match the existing ones. The team would arrive very early morning although the weather was not great some days and I am very appreciate and satisfied with their work. I would recommend them to anyone who needs outside construction work. Alli was always attentive never rush me into payment. I would hired them again if I had to.

Our project with ZHI was one of the most trouble free and pleasurable experiences we had when renovating our home. Their prices were very reasonable and their workers were professional and efficient. They even came back months after the job was complete to touch up some damage caused by other construction at no cost! Wow! These guys are amazing masons and incredible in other trades too! We hired ZHI to redo our back patio, and it turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. Whether it was the demolition, bluestone masonry, the cedar panel fencing, or the artificial turf installation— these guys did it all to picture-perfect results. A huge thanks to Ali and his team— Ali was such an attentive project manager, handling our questions, sourcing the correct tradespeople, and managing schedules with professionalism and integrity at every step of the way. There is no one else I’d call for any brownstone work in the future— thanks Ali and ZHI!

ZHI gave us an incredibly reasonable estimate for repairing the damage to our exterior facade, specifically the cornice. They showed up on time, were very professional and courteous and cleaned up after themselves. The repair turned out to be a complete replacement once they saw the extent of the damage. Despite needing to spend more on materials, they did not increase the cost. I even tried to tip them and they declined. This is a company with a commitment to customer service, integrity and high quality work. Highly recommend!!
