They had several boots I liked. Although prices were a bit high. The staff was very helpful and patient. It’s worth stopping in for sure!

During a weekend trip with family, I stopped in to purchase boots for my little nephew and this was the perfect place to find everything cowboy related for kids and adults alike. Shannon helped me pick out the perfect hat, belt and boots. She was super friendly, helpful and nice. I found her to genuinely want to help and she clearly loves her job! The store is well stocked with a variety of sizes and brands-including Ariat. I was pleasantly surprised how much fun I had. I will return to this store when am back in town. If you're looking for gifts or to purchase clothes and boots for self, this is your spot.
I spent Christmas 2025 in San Antonio on the River Walk. The most unique stores are located at the Rivercenter Mall, unlike the traditional shops we have here in Georgia, and I look forward to shopping there each time I visit. During my visit, I stumbled across the Wondering Cowboys. I had never owned a pair of cowboy boots before and had no intention of buying any. Let’s just say that had it not been for Alex Reyna, I might not have purchased any boots at all! I had an incredibly fun time shopping in the store, and Alex sold me my first pair. He was so patient and made my experience enjoyable that I felt compelled to walk out with some boots. Alex is truly a gem; I don’t believe just anyone could have made this sale happen. Not only did I leave with my first pair of boots, but I also felt like I connected with a great guy! Alex deserves accolades for the way he conducted himself—he was professional and kind. I walked out not only with boots but also with a full outfit, including a belt! I’ll be back soon, and I’ll definitely be visiting the Wondering Cowboy and my guy Alex!
Thank you Andrew for making our visit memorable. Andrew did a phenomenal job helping my husband find the perfect pair of boots. Andrew also helped my husband with sizing and fitting a cowboy hat, though ultimately we chose not to get one on this visit. The store has a great selection of cowboy wear.
This western boutique was perfect. Whoever is the buyer does an amazing job-so much variety. The boots are reasonably priced with major top brands like Corral & Loredo. The woman that helped us had the cutest outfit and was more than helpful, easy to talk to, and gave recommendations for places to go. She was like our personal shopper. We got my boyfriend his first pair of cowboy boots and hat-he loves both and the boots are so comfy. I cannot wait to rock my new rhinestone jacket.
Amazing service by Alexia! I was in the night before when my wife purchased a western hat. I mentioned that I wear size 11B shoes. We stopped back in today and Alexia said she had checked and they had a couple boots in my size. The other people in the store that assisted us did a great job as well but I was very surprised that she looked up boots in my size after we left and recognized us when we came back in today!!

Didn't buy anything here, but when I turned a corner all I could smell was leather and just had to hop in. Very nice staff and decent merchandize
