My insurance already authorized my weight loss medication but for some reason these people refuse to call my pharmarcy. Absulutely worthless lazy people. AVOID THESE PEOPLE IF YOU CAN.
If I could give it negative reviews I would. They are an absolute nightmare. I have uploaded documents after documents over and over again. All the information is in front of their eyes but they came see it! I have been on my zepbound over a year. My insurance switched to this awful company to get my meds. Nonstop nightmare. Now I'm on vacation in Hawaii can't get my meds. Tried to get them from my home pharmacy before leaving but, no I had to deal with this Vida health headache! Communication is slow and not very good. Take the time to actually go through the pages of documents, not just the 1st page seriously! I am an RN, what happened to these so called providers reading an actual chart. Very disorganized and very poor with Communication.
The absolute worst option a company can force employees into! Terrible customer service and it's going to be 2 weeks before I might get to see anyone! I hope this goes under and our company cancels whatever contract this is too much control and absolutely no benefit! Update I ALREADY REACHED OUT TO SUPPORT THEY HAVEN'T REACHED BACK OUT TO ME.
Nothing more than a program to cause complications/deny coverage to people that rightfully qualify. CVS Caremark has partnered with them to allowed them to add excess steps/hoops to coverage for prescriptions. This allows CVS/Caremark to deny actual physical physician prescriptions or cause consumers to be extorted/forced to pay in cash because CVS/Caremark can claim they aren't compliant with the program, much like CPAP compliance companies. This should not be legal.
Gonna go with everyone else here. Have you found your insurance company/provider now mandates you go to Vida? Be ready for an absolute nightmare. Support is awful and they intentionally delay to give any sort of answers. They refuse the option to connect with supervisors to solve your issues. Purely theoretical but this is likely due to mandates that they save on costs. Probably (purely theoretical) that they do this so people miss the opportunity to refill and they can save $$ on their bottom line. I provided my labs on 1/9 where they said a 2-3 day turnaround. I just received on 1/21 that they need more information that previously wasn’t corrected.
Terrible program. Initially got discharged from prescribing program without it actually being explained to me what that meant and I was told I cannot get back on a GLP1. Had to reach out to support to get back on the prescribing program and even support didn’t really understand why I had been taken off. The providers are VERY dismissive, which makes it hard to advocate for yourself. Very unhappy this is the program I have to go through to get access to medication.
Want me to take med that have warning against using my life savings med. Or ones that interfere with my depression medicine. They have no customers support representative number anymore just ai which is not helpful at all. It's not a weight loss company it's a company trust by insurance so insurance doesn't have to pay . The Drs and provider suck and need there license s remove. It's also needs health out of its name . Nothing healthy about this app would have given it a zero if I could
This is the most annoying and frustrating program I’ve ever been forced to use in my life in 2025. My employer decided in order to continue getting affordable prescriptions. I have to use Vida health. This includes them sending me equipment that I have to use every week at my house having to have a webinar or coaching session every 12 weeks having to do bloodwork every six weeks and having to complete honestly useless little articles every two weeks that cover things like drink, water eat more vegetables. But that’s not the main frustration. The main frustration is even when I do all of the things occasionally I’ll miss something and I preferred discount status won’t be met so I will scramble to do whatever it is. They want me to do it says it’ll take 48 hours for it to update to have your preferred discount approved and 48 hours goes by every single time this happens and I have to call in email and try to get them to fix it while I’m very much rushed because I need to pick my prescription up as soon as possible. This isn’t one time this is multiple time. It has caused me hours of trying to figure out why my preferred status is not updated after the 48 hours and every single time it’s escalated and every single time they come back and say OK well it’s fixed and then 4 to 12 weeks later. I’m dealing with it again. The only reason I do this is it does save me about $160 but at this point I’m really questioning whether it’s worth it trying to find support on the site is an absolute joke if you’re lucky enough to find the number to call in you’re gonna call in and then it’s gonna get escalated and you’re gonna be still waiting 24 to 48 hours currently I’m in a situation where I need to pick up my prescription this weekend. It is Friday. It should’ve updated from the webinar. I attended Monday but it didn’t and now I’m scrambling to hope somebody calls me back and fixes my account so that I can pick up my medication do better
This is a scam company that profits off employers wanting to “save” money by getting their employees (and dependents) off of GLP-1s. They gatekeep your medication that has already been prescribed by your doctor by making you jump through unnecessary hoops and requiring you to do appointments with providers who cancel on you at the last minute. Coach Megan did exactly this to me. They essentially insinuate that you’ve never tried “diet and exercise” before getting on your GLP-1, and that you’re FAT because you’re LAZY and UNEDUCATED. They’re not actually trying to help you—they’re trying to help your employer to save money. They’re make a difficult situation even more difficult so that you’ll give up on your GLP-1 altogether (thus saving your employer money). This company’s practices should be illegal and they need to be investigated.
Insurance is forcing me to use vida to get zepbound for osa. My first meeting with the doctor he said I have to try topamax and metformin before I can be considered for zepbound. Last I checked, those two aren't even fda approved to treat osa. I expressed that I refuse to take an anti-convulsant when I don't have seizures his response to me was "well what do you want to do then?" In an exasperated tone. Now trying to switch provider because I don't feel comfortable with him and it says that I have to wait 7 days. Just started and I'm already having multiple issues. My wife used vida and had no problems, but it's been a nightmare for me.
