11am, we arrived at The Taproom at Pike Place which is the opening time & it was closed. We could see two people behind the bar & a male staff member standing in the dining area. We waited 15 minutes & no one came to the door. We opened the door slightly to ask a question only to be yelled at by the very defensive, unhelpful & rude guy who was standing in the dining area. He came no where near the door & yelled, "we are not open, we can't help you." The opening hours are on the door & instead of walking over to us & speaking to us politely, he yelled, "close the door." We left & will never go back or recommend this place. Save your time & money & go to a bar that values your business like Reuben's Brew - Downtown Seattle Taproom or Yard House or Shuckers Oyster Bar or Jack's BBQ!!!!

I expected much more, beers are OK. However the food is absolutely not. The 6 pieces of wings cost around $16 and the taste isn't really good.

Their selection of beers is amazing. The vibe is cozy and the location right across from Pike Place make this a great place to chill and have a beer after some shopping.

Good variety of beers and ciders.Pretzel was delicious to snack on. Street view of Seattle. Close walk to Pike Market and shops, including book store. Great place to grab a beer and chat.

This place is a great place to come. They have local top notch brews. Sean is so kind and nice. Tha new people arent that great. You should keep the same 3 bartenders. They can work all day to make a living.

No questions, they have a well curated collection of draft beers. This is a typical brewery so don’t expect a lot of variety in food but the beers will definitely meet or exceed expectations. We tried the raspberry sour, the stout and a Belgian triple. All different and very distinct, flavory and full bodied. Definitely coming back to this place. The server was super knowledgable and polite. She gave me little samples to make my selection easier.

Nice place to hang out and rest while your are tired making long walks around Pikes place market. Not a lot of variety. Plus they were out of a few things during the busiest hour on the weekend.

What this place really needs improvement on is the employees,I walked in this place expecting it to be somewhat nice and welcoming for all people since they have pride flags, after I ordered the #13 I picked up some peanuts from a cup because where I'm from peanuts are usually customary they're usually for everyone at the bar, after I walked away some big Jack crawling up the beanstalk lookin dude yelled and asked "hey why did you take his peanuts?!" Again I understand I'm somewhere else but I really did not know that and i apologized to him and the other man and paid 6 dollars for some little cup with more peanuts and some lady also decided to make it her business and ask what I did he then proceeds to call me she and my voice is primarily deepish and I wear a binder and packer and I guess none of that clicked with beanstalk man and I introduced myself to the man I had accidentally taken peanuts from, he didn't have to be rude about it he could've simply said hey excuse me that was his, he didn't need to piss his pants over it I did ask a pike market person about the bar and she said it's new,she left a much better taste in my mouth about pike market, taproom maybe you shouldn't hire DXL's cousin. Also there was no refund offered to me or sent back to my card after I put the beer back down on the counter and told him I didn't want it anymore I had calmly put the glass down and I did not drink a SIP.

Rudest bartender ever!!! I was curious about the beers and he wouldn’t offer any suggestions or offer to let me try them and the one I ordered was horrible and I took it back and ordered something else and he charged me again and told me it was my fault for not asking to try it first. RUDE RUDE RUDE!

Nice place to grab a drink and rest from the craziness of Pike Place. Had the Marionberry cider. Nothing special and not as sweet as claimed. It was more tart than I expected but was missing something about the cider/apple aspect I wanted. Hubs had the Jurassic Punk. Billed as a New Zealand hoppy lager. It is definitely hoppy. Gives it an IPA kind of feel. I get that this is a touristy area but both beers were $11 a piece. Be prepared for touristy prices and just ok beer.
