The Taproom at Pike Place

Nice taproom with good regional selection of beers. Really expensive beers. Atmosphere just ok.

Went for a couple of beers during the day, decent beers and good service. Nice going somewhere beer focused far enough away from the crowds.

Chicken wings were way overcooked and dry and I hope you like really loud exclusively country music. They way payment works here you order and pay at the bar at the same time so they swipe your card first thing then you just leave when your finished. After having our meal and getting 2 more drinks over an hour we got up put on our jackets on, situated our dog with her harness and casually walked out. Then, the bartender comes chasing after us saying there were complications with our payment and we had to come back in to swipe the card. We didn’t understand how the complications only took place after we left. Then again the bartender seemed offended that we asked if he could put on something other than country music since we were the only ones in there and he told us it was out of his control. There are dozens of better options all ver this neighborhood don’t waste your time and money

If you're interested in trying different craft beers and having catch ups with your friends, this is a great place. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the different types of beers and was helpful in my selection. There was a lot of space to sit and they even have an outdoor area to sit. They have a few TVs to watch sports and they serve bar snacks too. I had the IPA beers and they both tasted very good. The higher percentage of alcohol IPA was actually very good!

The beer selection is good. The pretzel a standout!

This place is awesome. I lived "on the Hill" for 40+ years before moving (retiring) to Port Townsend 2-issh. ANY-way, John who works here is awesome. So friendly. So willing to discuss beers on tap. This is a great place to hang out and read a newspaper while enjoying several beers, which is what I did. Next time I'm back in the city I lived for decades, I'll be here

Good selection of beers. Rather on the expensive side, but makes sense given that it is at Pike Place.

Was not particularly impressed with the offerings. Was there in the early afternoon hoping to have lunch but the kitchen wasn't open. Would have been satisfied if the beer offerings were better but they were just passable. I won't suggest stopping here again.
