Love this church. Bishop McKissick, Jr. can really preach the word. He is really anointed. I was referred to Bishop McKissick, Jr. by my previous Pastor Solomon Kinloch, Jr. in Detroit, MI because I just relocated to Jacksonville and I'm looking for a new church home. I am so glad I had the opportunity to visit Bethel Baptist Institutional Church. This may just be the one!
After permanently relocating to Jacksonville, Florida from St. Louis, Missouri to reside with my husband in June, 2014, I visited several blessed churches. However, Pastor Emeritus, Bishop McKissick, Sr. is by far the wisest, most spiritually connected yet humblest man I've ever met☺. Under the pastoral leadership of his beloved son, Bishop Rudolph McKissick, Jr., trust me there is no experience like the Bethel Experience. All are welcome for truth, comradrie, love & most importantly, The Word!
I am a new resident of Florida. I came from Philadelphia on 12/15. All i had was what could fit in my car. I had no money or no Christmas for my daughter. The Angel tree program and the food bank helped us out. I went to tge Salvation Army, United Way and Toy for tots and was tokd no. I went to tge Church in Sunday and attended an Awesome service! I ket the curch know what I needed and was told Yes. Thank you so much you were such a blessing to us.
