My growth with Christ,and family growth fro. Babies, to the grandchildren, and now the great grandchildren. Loving Bishops church family. Bethel has been a beacon in my life for 54 yrs., the pastors have nurtured me through death of my mother,brother and father.
My cousins homegoing celebration was held here recently, as well as my late Aunts over a year ago.
Pretty much like any big black church way to many egos walking around. The preaching is good but the scholarship program aka Walk A Thon is a complete sham, can’t be trusted. 14 year member over 75k in tithe and donations but no more after today.

A great church to visit if you're in the city for a weekend. A wonderful church to join and be a part of if you live in Duval County. Multiple service times accommodate varying schedules. Biblically sound preaching and life application teaching. Several areas and opportunities to be involved in and active in the building as well as in the community.
Easter service was enjoyable. The message by Bishop Awesome! Music 🎶 and💃🏾were beautiful! It felt wonderful praising and worshipping with with the Bethel family! I was truly Blessed!!!
This church is a great place to wordship, grow and feel the presence of God. The Bishops are souch great teachers, and you will get a word from the lord. The leaders are down to earth, friendly and loving to all people. I say come by and you'll love it to.
My daughter joined the Girls Scouts in the church. We were not members at the time. We attended Girls Scouts Sunday and continued to Vist after that. Very happy and blessed we joined the church. That was in 2006 and we've been there every since. We love the Bethel family and the Bethel experience. This is a blessed church family.
I first attended Bethel Baptist Institutional Church in the spring season of 1989. Lady Estelle McKissick & Pastor RW McKissick Sr.,greeted me and my family (at that time)with a smile and warm welcome that has never me and still sustains Me today as I worship virtually with the Bethel Experience.
I went with my grandsons to the Kicks for Kids back to school event. The event was well organized and they had shoe options for all school age sizes. Very impressed! I am so thankful for events like this!!
