Friendly staff, got special order right, beer good.
Stopped here for a cocktail and enjoyed my time. Server made chit chat with me seeing I was alone. Would recommend.
Three of us stopped by this brewery because it was highly recommended. We each had a different beer and everyone was happy with their selection. One in our group ordered food and he really liked the flavor and portion size. Our server met us promptly and was very attentive during our stay. I will visit again if I return to Portland.
I'm sure the beer is great but I don't want to have to be drunk to think the food is good. Pretzel tasted like one from the supermarket, ceaser salad had non toasted bread as croutons, the fried chicken sandy was unfortunately unremarkable. Bummer bro:
Pros: Beer Food ($12 per person) Price Cons: I have one -Beer- While I have not tried enough of their beer selection to be certain, based on what I have tried, I can say that if all their beers are like those, then they are the best brewery in Oregon. I've been to at least 40 different breweries in Portland, including ones that have moved, and at least 100 different breweries in the Northwest, and like I said, based on what I've had so far, this one is the best. This is the only brewery that is not in walking distance of my place that I actively seek out, and I live in the pearl. -Food- Food is actually really good. They have a really interesting selection of food, it isn't just the standard pub stuff. They have a full assortment of things, and all of it is really good. I recommend that you get all of it. I eaten through their entire menu once, and I plan to do it some more. -Price- This place hits the price mark for what they give you. It could be cheaper, but it is certainly reasonable. -I have one- After a little bit of struggling to find a con, I have one. During their 1 year celebration they claimed that my raffle ticket would be good for each raffle, and it was not. But like I said, that is me struggling to find something wrong with this place.
My second time back in two weeks. Service was great and friendly. The beer is solid with a wide variety for all to try. I had a fantastic bratwurst grilled cheese for only $5. The kicker for me was the atmosphere. Indoor/outdoor full service. The patio is huge with some of it covered for those rainy days. There is also cornhole!
Great experience here. My family and I were in town for a conference and a friend suggested this place and it was terrific. The brussel sprouts and beet salad were delicious and the service was great. We were there in February so we gathered at a picnic table inside and it was cozy and relaxing. Would definitely go back when I'm in town again.
This used to be one of our favorite spots. We returned today for lunch with some dear friends and were extremely disappointed with the food. The fries were crunchy and very over fried, the salads were sloppy and small, and the bon mi was dry, bland, and equally as small. It looked and tasted like hospital food. On top of all of that, it was expensive…I hate to sound like a Karen, but we will not be returning. Management needs to seriously reconsider what it is they are offering their patrons.
