I ordered a hot drink. They didn't have the travel stoppers out so I asked for and got one but then noticed they also didn't have the cardboard cup holders out and they didn't automatically give them out with the hot drinks? The drink is so hot it's burning my hand through the cup and they didn't have the cup holders available. All a bit wierd and off-putting. Not the worst, just not very helpful? I left and tasted my drink a few minutes later and it's... Not the chai latte I ordered? I can't taste any chai in it. It tastes like milk with some hints of cinnamon thrown in. The staff was friendly enough, but overall not good on availability on top of an almost tasteless drink.
Absolute worst. I stopped here and ordered a drink so I could use the bathroom. After a few minutes someone started pounding on the door. They had called security from next door! For being in there less than 5 minutes! I told them I was fine, I just needed a couple more minutes. They then said they were going to call the police! I wish they would! So I come out the bathroom, without finishing..grab my drink and it felt really light, it was like almost half empty! I set the drink back down to show the worker and she actually accused me of drinking it! She said "well it looks like it did have more" hmm then who drank it? I'm wondering how she thinks I drank it in the 2 seconds I was holding it, without putting it to my lips. Like for real? So anyways, I went next door to talk to the security that had been called, and she was actually really nice. As for the workers...NOT AT ALL
Went in to buy a coffee and breakfast, waited about 5 mins they didn't acknowledge me as I'm waiting there in line to order food and coffee the only 1, they were counting cash. Then old man walked in they proceeded to help him looked at me then went back to counting cash. I left and came back bout 15 mins later I ordered a large white chocolate mocha and 2 breakfast sandwiches I got a medium wc mocha and 2 breakfast sandwiches I didn't order
This is my favorite Starbucks location I’ve been to. The atmosphere is very calm, there is always cozy music playing and the seats are quite comfortable! The service is incredible, in three years of coming here weekly nothing I’ve ever ordered didn’t taste delicious and the baristas always ask people how they’re doing and genuinely care about the answers. 1000/10, would (and absolutely will) come here again!
Really nice people working behind the counter. Relaxing atmosphere ,peaceful a great spot to stop and enjoy a cup of coffee,latte,frappe or a delicious iced coffee at any time of the day 👍
The employees are very pleasant but they are more involved in other things than taking customer orders. We were the only ones in line and it was several minutes before our order was taken.

STARBUCKS A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN FINALLY CALL HOME. THIS IS YOUR PLACE TO BE AT INSTEAD OF BEING IN A PLACE YOU DON'T FEEL SAFE , LOVE , OR FREE AT. DURING THESE HARD TIMES THIS PARTICULAR STARBUCKS IS LOCATED IN THE HEART PORTLAND OREGON.
Websight said it opened at 5:00 a.m. it is now 6:00 and it's not open. I have watched customers come and leave. Maybe the website hours need updating.
New location: same service (excellent). I will miss the foggy windows from the old Clay Street Starbucks, but I bet the staff won't!
