A pretty cozy Starbucks near PSU and the Portland Farmers Market. They have limited seating but both tables and a small section of bar seating. They have outdoor tables. Staff are pleasant and the washrooms are clean. Parking is street special with some nearby lots. There is substantial transit.
The staff is really nice. I seem to order the same thing each time, strawberries & creme frap, and it seems that some of the staff does not know how to make it good. I love that drink but some days it is better than others (inconsistency).
From out of town. Stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich, matcha latte & strawberry açaí. Staff was efficient, friendly and very helpful. Interior was clean, well stocked and welcoming. Best Starbucks I’ve visited. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Friendly and helpful staff. I went in on a weekend around.mid day and they were hit hard with a busy morning so every table had little crumbs and sticky drink drips everywhere. I told the counter person and he promptly gave the tables a wipe. Afterwards I felt fine about sitting down. They don't have as many tables and seats as they had a month or so ago.
Great Starbucks, they are super nice, seem to love their job, great service, they know how to make their drinks fast & efficiently. Only thing I had a issue with was the fact they allowed a homeless woman in with a VERY UNTRAINED dog, it smelled, ran under peoples feet, tables, whined a lot. It was just disturbing. They have the right to ask anyone to leave & when it's an issue, would hope they'd exercise that right. Other than that, it's a great location with amazing service.
Miserable baristas with zero personality. Can't even get a hello from them. The location on Main is MUCH better.
So I’m an Uber Eats driver, I came to this location today for a pick up. Walked inside and checked the pick up section and didn’t see the order. So I decided to wait to be asked what I was there for or to see if the order would be placed out when ready. 10 or more minutes go by and still not 1 of the 2 baristas on staff asked me what I was waiting for. Mind you, I made eye contact with both baristas over 3 times each. At least 4 customers were helped in the time I was waiting. And it was not busy. Then I proceeded to have to go out of my way and ask them how long I have to wait to be helped? And said the name of the order I was there for. Turns out the order was sitting in a bag on the barista side of the counter ready the entire time without the name being displayed towards customer view. So there should have been no wait since the order was ready since arrival.
As we all know Starbucks are everywhere in Portland. Normally the service is great however at this location I was very disappointed in the barista that made my drink. The person who took my order was very friendly and nice. My name is unusual and I am used to people pronouncing it wrong but when the barista called my name, the fact that she pronounced it wrong twice was not the issue at all but then she said "or whatever " my name is not or whatever. So rude! I also originally asked for my drink in a glass to drink it at the location, it was a great drink and I wanted to take it with me to finish so I asked to take it to go and was given just a cup with no lid. I don't know what is going on at this location, everyone has a bad day but there are way to many places to get coffee in Portland for this type of service. I will never return to this location.
Fantastic staff - super friendly and helpful! Most importantly, my coffee was perfect! Nice and clean store with positive energy all around.
Great spot in downtown Portland. It was convenient as it was on the first floor of my hotel too! The barista who helped me (Alexis) was great (she was a Navy Veteran) and went above and beyond for my daughters drink!
