I would definitely recommend SMART SOLAR ENERGY to anyone looking for Solar. I will definitely be adding on to my system (when I can afford) with SMART SOLAR ENERGY.

Every team member I've come across is professional, timely, clear, and full of integrity when it comes to this business. Let me be clear, I thought solar was a a weird pyramid scheme for the longest time, but Smart Solar Energy broke it down to me as clear as a sunny day and made me see the full benefits of going solar not just for my monthly bills, but also my overall home value. I asked them to keep meeting with me to get the details fully straight three times, because I thought it was too good to be true...but it wasn't! We live on the Oregon coast. We interviewed several companies before we selected Smart Solar. We could not be more satisfied. I have already recommended Smart Solar to several of our neighbors who saw the panels delivered and to friends who live in the Pacific Northwest. It was a totally seamless process. Others who have commented favorably on Smart Solar Energy Co's customer service, professionalism, knowledge about their product, etc. These comments are not exaggerations. From the Owner to the Installers to the Project Managers (ours was Jenn Showers), all were personable and respectful. No question was too dumb. By the way, no other company has a project management system like Smart Solar's. Smart Solar assigns a Project Manager to each Project for the lifetime of the Project. We could not be happier. Every step of this was professionally and reliably handled. Sales call was very informative and instructive. Price was a big improvement over the other three bids I had received. Financing was easily handled by the credit union. Installation was fast and the crews were great. Love the app that lets me monitor the system. Highly recommend.

They were very professional, they did all the work, setting the appointments with us and showing up when they said they would. They stayed in communication with us. They walked us through how to monitor our system with their app, monitor our system with us, and called when our system was started to ensure everything was working as it should be. Everything they promised they delivered. They were on time and courteous when they were here. They always answer their phone. Our system is up & running and doing very well. We would recommend them to anyone who wants to install solar.

The staff at Smart solar were well-informed and did a great job of explaining how it all worked, down to the smallest detail. They were really good at staying in touch and keeping me updated on the progress of the installation. The installation crew was efficient and professional. It was a seamless experience and I highly recommend using them if you plan to go solar.

Jordan & Jenn were so patient with all our questions and helpful in providing technical info that we asked for. The installers were attentive to our requests for routing and willing to look into innovative solutions when we found that our "solar ready" routing was not adequate. Step by step emails along the way were helpful. So grateful that Smart Solar's business model is to maintain relationships and that we know who to contact if we have any questions or issues in the future.

Buying a rooftop solar system is something you don't do but maybe once in your life so it is hard to compare but I can say that Smart Solar was responsive in communications from the quote stage through the installation/activation stage of my 8kw rooftop system. They answered questions promptly and addressed any concerns that came up quickly. I feel confident that if there are any issues with the system during the warranty period, Smart Solar will stand by their product/service. Would work with them again.

After considering solar for many years, I finally decided to investigate what was truly possible beyond just “lowering my electric bill”. I started my search through Energy Sage and was brought into contact with several companies, who to their credit, all came out personally to meet with me and discuss their products. In the end, one company stood out above them all and that was Smart Solar. Throughout the entire process, they have been up-front, consistent, reliable, communicative, and responsive. Jordan, who was the initial sales representative, worked with me through the 2022 Christmas and New Year period to put together the final installation package as well as shepherding the permitting and financing process all the way through. Jenn, the project manager, then took the ball and made sure that everything never missed a beat by answering any questions almost immediately, coordinating the schedules, and making sure that I always knew what to do in order to keep the project moving forward. After getting everything signed off on and approved, they were able to complete the installation in around four months, which was early January to early May. Granted, my 14kW system was a large investment for our family, but for this type of product you are also investing in a company. It has been a few weeks since we were turned on by PGE, and we have already far exceeded our first 1,000kwh of total energy before the end of the second week. The solar hardware is solid, and the supporting app is easy to use and very useful as it allows me to track everything down to what each individual microinverter is doing. The physical installation was large at 35 total solar panels, but it was done in such a way that the aesthetics and performance of the system are very balanced. The icing on the cake is that the final bid per kwh was lower than the others that I had received and offered better overall terms with respect to warranty and servicing. However, I was not sold on them being the lowest overall bid, I was sold on their dedication to what they do and what drives them in this industry. Granted, there any many suspect companies out there in the world of solar, but this one is doing their level best to give the industry a very good name indeed.
