Nice store - has Kroger products. Folks working were considerate and helpful.
this place just keeps getting worse and i cant shop here anymore. Aisles packed with pallets midday, impossible for disabled people to traverse. Stands of products blocking shelves, clutter everywhere and blocking aisles, ive had to move stands out of the way to reach for stuff off shelves. The self checkout replaced stands to place your basket with refrigerators that you can't rest the basket on anymore. I had to hold my basket the whole time while I checked out because there was no room to rest it on anything. Prices on signs that are grossly misleading, for example: 1.99 for a bag of chips and in the tiny fine print that is hard to find, only if you buy 5- if you buy one it is over 5 dollars. The shopping experience here is so bad.
Best QFC in town in my opinion. Open 24 hours. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are on par with the Kroger chain. I don’t agree with price complaints. I watch price points on routine items and they are comparable with Fred Meyer on nearly everything. I’ve seen FM prices exceed this QFC, and the reverse. But on average, I think the QFC is more than competitive. Selection and quality are spot on. It’s not a monster Fred Meyer, and that’s one of many things I appreciate. Easy access to everything, quickly. I drop in regularly, because it’s painless! I’ll continue to give this store as much business as possible. Neighborhood store locations are dwindling. I appreciate the big FM stores, but for routine shopping, the QFCs smaller footprint and 24 hour convenience in the neighborhood wins hands down.
I want to be treated with professionalism. I don't want a Mexican to make a bad face at me. On the contrary, I want a Mexican to give me an abundance of service-in the same way that I offer it to everyone I serve- I ask Jose how much is the whole half of the Coho Salmon fillet worth and, after weighing it, he tells me that It's $27 and few cents, but he says it with a loud voice. I was just curious to know the price of the whole half of the fish, but I didn't need to buy that much. And, when I asked him how much the whole fillet would cost, he raised his voice, again "HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT?" I only want a pound and he made me a bad face. And, he sold me 1.17 lbs of fish. Then I ask to add some of the herbs that they have on the side of the fish to give to the customer, but, as if I were taking them out by force, jesus. Also, I asked for sticks of butter that they have to give to the customer but he refused to give out any. Jose should be corrected by the QFC Manager because he is either in charge of the fish shop or he goes behind to wash the dishes. This is true to the best of my ability
Cute little liquor store on Barnes Rd I didn't know about. Next to QFC too, bonus! Dinner and drinks checked off the list.
I shop here periodically, but not that often. Overall, the store is clean, selection is decent, and most staff members are quite polite. The exception is the fish counter. The problem there appears to come from the manager named Samantha, I think it was. I found her words and conduct to me to be offensive and unwarranted. Strange to have a store employee talk to a customer like that.
I was just in about 5 minutes ago. Every time I go here and use the self check out the attendants make me feel socially uncomfortable. Today an attendant literally stood over me and instructed me the number for the things I was ringing up for every item instead of letting me do it myself. I appreciate help when I ask for it. Employees need to be trained better on interpersonal customer service skills, almost every experience I’ve had in the self check out at this store, the attendants have are socially awkward and socially overbearing, making it uncomfortable when all I want to do is ring up my own groceries..
This is a good place to stop by also right next to the hospital prices are way to high though but some prices can be okay on clearance items.
I have been avoiding writing a review because I don’t want anyone else to know how amazing this QFC is but I have had too many amazing customer service moments to not write one. First of all, the pharmacy staff has always been the best staff I have ever encountered at a pharmacy EVER. They not only are doing their jobs, they have gone above and beyond to help me out when my medication was facing a nationwide shortage. Taking extra time to go over all of my options without hesitation and even making PHONE CALLS to see what other options I had bc everyone’s circumstances are different. 10/10 both pharmacists (one is a young man and the other is a blonde woman) have been excellent. Second: the deli has always been stocked full of all the best food that I wish my work was closer to here so I could eat lunch here more often. And tbh I never have wanted to eat at a grocery store, but the food they have prepackaged is always fresh, delicious, and presented so very well. Third: the Starbucks. I love going to Starbucks but always avoid in-store ones bc they can be a liiiiittle off. But not this one. Always has the most up to date merch and smiling staff. Lastly: shoutout specifically to Jarrett. Today he was reorganizing the wine section with his coworker and everything had gotten moved from its original spot, and was in boxes all over the place. He stopped what he was doing when he saw me looking around where the Sake used to be, and asked me if I needed any help. I told him about a special sake that I needed and said unfortunately, since they are resetting the section, the sake is packed away and probably won’t be up until later today or tomorrow. I had said I needed it for a wedding and needed to get it today. He immediately started digging through his boxes looking for it and then even went so far to look in a separate section of the store where more boxes were. He found it and I honestly couldn’t believe it. I know this seems like it’s all standard and should be done but to be honest, ever since 2020 the grocery world has been full of ups and downs and it’s no one’s fault. It’s tough out there to keep up with customer standards and lack of employees… but this QFC is really nailing the “Quality” part of their title.
I went in to purchase some ice and snacks, and from the start a man ( I think he was the owner or manager ) followed me around the store with a snarl and look of worry like I was a criminal, all because I drive an older vehicle is my guess. If you don't talk, walk, And look like everyone else be prepared to be treated like they want you to ride in the back of the bus.
