Pure Moving Company Seattle Movers Local & Long Distance

I would not recommend Pure Moving Company based on my experience getting a quote for an interstate move. I initially spoke with someone who told me that a one-bedroom interstate move would generally fall around $3,500–$5,500, and we scheduled a virtual walkthrough. After the walkthrough, the quote came back at $7,666 for standard delivery, based on an estimate of 1,044 cubic feet / 7,308 lbs. That was significantly higher than the range I had been given and did not seem consistent with the actual inventory I reviewed with them. When I questioned the estimate and pointed out that some things appeared overestimated or not accurately reflected or just plain questionable in logic, the follow-up call felt aggressive and pressuring and bullying. Instead of walking through the inventory calmly or explaining what specifically caused the estimate to jump so much, the representative got defensive about my questioning their logic and repeatedly talked over me and pushed the quote. I felt uncomfortable with the way the conversation was handled. Pure Nonsense. A moving estimate should feel transparent, especially for an interstate move where a company will have possession of your belongings. In my case, the quote process left me feeling like the inventory and pricing were not clearly explained, and the sales approach became too pushy when I asked reasonable questions. I chose not to move forward.

These movers were amazing! They worked incredibly hard, stayed professional the entire time, and handled everything efficiently. Even though our move was scheduled for 9 AM, they showed up early and got right to work. They made the whole moving process smooth and stress-free. Definitely worth every penny - highly recommend!

PureMovers came right at the start of their arrival time (which was awesome)! They did a full service move for me from a Denny Triangle to Belltown, in Seattle. I was moving from a 1 bedroom 1.5 bath on the larger side, but they were able to pack and move out the whole apartment in about 4 hours with 5 movers. They super flexible throughout. First, a car blocked the loading dock at the starting location. Second, they were flexible with a complaining attendant from another apartment building that shared the same alleyway as the delivery location (they had to pull out and back into another portion of the alleyway). Third, the delivery apartment had a broken down elevator, so we had to share the other working elevator with the rest of the building, requiring some extra logistics (I intended to have a reserved elevator) Overall, they were done in about 7 hours, which beat the 9-11 hour estimate. I was hoping we could get into the 6-7 hour range — but, as seen above, life wanted to make that difficult. Nonetheless, less professional movers would’ve handled that flexibility poorly and probably been inefficient and longer in hours. They delivered everything and placed my furniture as requested. I’ve done two other full service moves in my life that were cross country — those tend to have the best movers. However, PureMovers was on par with interstate movers and I would 100% them for full service moves, especially if you want it done in one day (at least for cross town moves like mine). For extra reference, I worked with Ben and his team — they were professional, flexible (as described), super helpful , and diligent/hard workers in general.

One of the best moving companies I’ve used and I’ve used a lot! Very nice group, disassembled and re-assembled my furniture well, and wouldn’t let me lift a finger! Would definitely hire them again in the future!

I compared rates across multiple companies and they had the most competitive rates. Movers were super efficient and professional. Moved across town and everything went smooth. Nothing fancy and just got the job done. I recommend them and would use them again for my next move.

I am SO happy I found Pure Movers. They were amazing from the time I made the reservation to the time the truck rolled away from our driveway. I had a relatively small move within the city and they did an excellent job. First, Matthew, their dispatcher/reservationist was awesome. He was clear, polite, and very responsive. And he answered the phone! I can’t tell you how often I get a machine or a 20-step phone tree that I have to get through to get to a person. I submitted my online request for a quote and also followed up with a call in a Monday. They confirmed that they had a truck available for the upcoming weekend, and also told me it was cheaper if I moved on a Sunday instead of a Saturday (what a great tip; no other moving company has ever volunteered info like that!) and they offered a 7% discount if you paid in cash. Excellent! Then, I rushed like mad to get all the No Parking permits from the city and signage on the Friday before our move. Matthew was great and passed along the info to the movers and stayed in communications, and he was able to get me all the vehicle info I needed for the permits. Most moving companies I’ve dealt with are not nearly as responsive or reliable. I received a text confirmation on Wednesday and Saturday before my Sunday move. Great! Good communication. And on the morning of my move, Iskender “Isak” texted me to confirm his arrival and provided an ETA for arrival. Wow! Awesome communication. And he showed up on time! His colleague, Aktan “Bob”, showed up within a few minutes. Awesome! So far, so good. They got to work immediately and did an amazing job. They carefully wrapped everything and boxed up the 🪴 plants. The job, overall, was a small job (15 pieces of furniture, 5 plants and some delicate items like a mirror, 3 lamps and misc items) but they moved things fast and did not break, scratch or damage a thing. Plants are still alive! Everything was in pristine condition. And they didn’t bang into the walls or anything either. They asked where we wanted everything and unwrapped our furniture, too. That’s great service! The one challenge we ran into was that the apt building’s freight elevator was not working even though it was reserved for us. This didn’t slow things down as they took everything in stride and didn’t complain or show any dissatisfaction with using the smaller passenger elevator. The one problem was that they couldn’t get the 91” sofa into the passenger elevator. So they had to walk it 6 flights downstairs!!!! They didn’t complain or get stressed out or get upset. They remained good natured and got the job done. I would highly recommend Pure Movers, and Iksender “Isak” and Aktan “Bob”, in particular. They were awesome!!! I will use Pure Movers again and I am SO happy I found them during my search. I’ve used other movers and these guys are, by far, the best. They make an already stressful situation 10x easier. Your search is over! Just call Pure Movers when you need to move! They do short and long haul moves.

Rasul and Dastan were on time, efficient and extremely polite. They packed everything with care and placed everything in the room of my choice with little direction. Will definitely use them again. Great price and excellent service.

I had a good experience with Pure Moving! Although they mistakingly recorded my move as a studio vs a two bedroom plus, they managed to pack my stuff into the truck anyway! Hats off to them for making that happen! 👏🏼It was very impressive given the sheer magnitude of stuff I own. They thought we would need to do two trips and determined that would not be necessary, after all. I was able to fit the last of my stuff in my car, which they moved for me. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is they lost one of the pegs to the shelf of my credenza and a couple of my plant babies suffered some damage. Communication on those errors would have helped make it 5 stars! I would recommend them if you’re needing to move!
