This place is a joke! I brought brand new items with tags of Arkansas sweaters and hoodies and jackets. Brand New Nikes that were worn for a half a day several pairs of slightly worn jeans and they offered me 46 dollars! I brought in 400 dollars worth of things! The Southaven store is ridiculous! I will never go back there. They sell raggedy clothes
Shout out to Khristian! She’s amazing. I came in yesterday (1/08) and couldn’t figure out exactly what I was looking for but knew an idea. They didn’t have exactly what I was looking for, but she was so kind to take time away from what she was doing to come help me. She was very friendly and approachable.
It's okay, found pants online for 19 and it was marked 35 which is insane to me but i respect it. The two employees were very sweet besides one she was having a whole conversation for like 10 minutes and being super sweet until it came to me and my mom, as soon as it was our turn she turned her back and ignored us like she didn't want to attend us until her coworker who was busy attending someone else noticed and told her to help us and she had no choice. Being latin-american sometimes you just have to deal with people like that who don't like you simply for existing so i ignored it but it's true when they say the inside matches the damn outside with all due respect. I tried to excuse the behavior the first time she gave me a stank face for asking a question but after that even my mom saw it and definitely felt the energy that we weren't wanted there. But Thank you to the women who helped me w opening the changing room and the other coworker, they were very sweet and acknowledged us.
Don't even bother coming here at all to sell anything since there extremely nifty and picky, I even brought in new and good condition with name brands to seal the deal. Just have an excuse they couldn't take it.

Went to sell some clothes and I had to use the restroom extremely bad! I asked the Hispanic lady that checked me in if I could use the bathroom. She looked away as she said its not working (which was iffy it felt like she was lying) I asked where they go she said they have an employee bathroom, so I said ok fine where is the closest place I can go ( as I'm doing the potty dance)! She so nonchalantly says oh idk & continued to check me in like I Dont have an emergency damn near! This is my first time over here so I was not familiar with whats in the shopping mall but whataburger and Starbucks is there luckily! If I hadn't already checked my things in I would've left!!!! Also if plus size Dont even bother bringing your clothes they only want your shoes and accessories! They said they take stuff but I didn't even see a plus size area!
I walked in with 2 bins full of women’s shoes clothes and purses/bags. The clothes and shoes were all college aged female items which is the target demographic for Plato’s Closet. The purses were Kate spade, one being $250 brand new and $370 respectively and neither one was taken as well as a Vera Bradley bag that was not taken. What a joke. I wasn’t greeted by anyone. When I brought my bins in the woman taking my stuff didn’t say a word to me or even look me in the eye. We went back to retrieve what wasn’t taken and I was shocked. They didn’t take anything from my bins but a few pairs of shoes. The shoes were brand new never worn converse and for 4 pairs we were offered $30 and some change. Upon returning home and seeing what wasn’t taken I was shocked again. They hadn’t even gone through the bins fully. We took stuff out that was still originally folded from when we put it in. I am quite frustrated with the experience and I’m a bit angry they hadn’t even gone through the bins fully. The people working are lazy and their customer service is just as bad. Do not recommend going to this establishment and selling unless you’re okay with being shafted. I’m appalled by the level of rudeness and disgust I was met with. They give you pennies on the dollar and change a massive markup.
ANA has the worst attitude imaginable! I have an issue with her every single time I come into the store. She consistently enters brand items incorrectly by name or not at all, and becomes combative when corrected. She is unfamiliar with current styles/brands. She is rude, unprofessional, and has the most abusive customer service I’ve experienced. She can be short with a very dismissive tone that is offensive and aggressive. She is demeaning with the characteristics of a bully hidden behind a falsely presented pleasant tone and smile. As a lead, her behavior is unacceptable and a deterrence to loyal customers. They have a really good team here, but I do not trust this young lady, she is out of order.

This is my favorite plato’s! The staff is super friendly and always willing to kindly help. One employee that left a great impression is Anna, she definitely improved my experience!! She was very welcoming and informative throughout my buy and later purchase. Love the people that make the place!!
