I have a very good time at Parks on Tap! I get to see the City of Philadelphia and get to meet people from all over the City!😉
Delicious beer and relaxing, romantic atmosphere! A great idea for couples or groups of friends. Reasonable prices too!
Just getting home after going to Parks on Tap near the Art Museum. Lovely ambiance, excellent customer service, delicious food, and great setting.
We went (Burholme Park) last year and enjoyed the relaxing park setting while sipping and munching. Great again this year -- love this event.
Horticulture center is a great venue for parks on tap. Beautiful large greenhouse. Well worth the visit.
Bouncer turned my partner away for our out of state IDs. I’ve never had that happen before anywhere in my life. Was excited to try but then this happened. Was quite embarrassing as well.
I’ll give them some Points for effort but last year I encountered an extremely uncomfortable situation with this racist woman running the door at the cliveden Park event. Also changed their minds back and forth about my girlfriend being let in without an ID which led to a lot of uncessessry confusion. Food and beer is overpriced.
We had a lovely time eating food and sitting in the shade along the water. We came around lunchtime on a Sunday. There was plenty of seating and the food was delivered quickly.
This concept provides enticement to check out the great parks throughout the city. And we always meet new people. Beer options are ok, food ok. Wish they had live music and more game options.
Why would anyone give this a bad review. It is the ultimate novelty. I wish other cities had something like this. Who cares if it costs a bit more than your local bar. You get to go explore all kinds of cool parks and communities around the city, hang out outdoors with folks of like minded, and just have a nice time. If that isn't your thing, then go to your local br instead and dont kill the vibe for the rest of us. And yeah, things wont be perfect. This is an outdoor, slapped together work of art, that will be impacted by heat, weather, and bumps in the night. I give 6 stars for being so cool.
