This location of Old Nelson holds a plethora of snacks and food ranging from deli sandwiches, fruit salads, to Korean snacks and even groceries. The varieties of food makes is extremely simple for near by college students to purchase a snack or even ingredients for a meal. My favorite things here are the paninis.
Ordered a soup yeah I won't be going back here ever. The noodles in the soup aren't done. Cashier was rude, she pretty much threw the change and items I purchased.
The food is average. It’s nothing wrong with the food honestly, it’s just nothing I would pay to try twice. The 1 star is because of the price difference and the lack of accessibility the Old Nelson’s app offers. I ordered a custom sandwich and was given a price through the Old Nelson’s online ordering system. Unfortunately, I received an error message stating “ I was too far from the location”. I then tried ordering on the app, received the same error message but I noticed something extra. The price for the same exact sandwich was less expensive. I was only 2 blocks from the 36th and market location so I walked in and ordered and not to my surprise, I was given a different price. Mind you, the most expensive price for the same exact sandwich was given in store.

The avocado that is used is always rotten. The first time I got a salad the avocado was rotten and the second time it happened with a sandwich. Yikes!
I dont know what happened . It used to be so good. When Okie , cindy, henny, Aaron ,and, Ewan worked there. I took the time to get to know their names because I work near by and really liked their customer service. Slowly but surely they all left I watched the service quality decline from a 10 to a 4. Covid hit and then everything went down hill. I tried today ordered my regular Disappointed. The taste was there but the structure of the hoagie was missing. On top of that the cashier is rude as ever. Rolling her eyes for no reason. For the same amount of money I couldve had a better made hoagie , with better ingredients and better customer service from PRIMOS!!

Multiple healthy, tasty, international food options for all types of restricted diets. It's not cheap, but neither is the food. Recommended if finding a worthy meal on a traditional menu is challenging for you. There are also more traditional snacks and drinks for everyday munchies. 😉
I had the beef barely soup and it was gross. The meat was organ meat not beef. Very disappointed
The hoagies are good! I also got a smoothie and they customized it for me even though they usually don't do that .. but that means a lot to me when people do that! I got coffee ☕ too .. it was super strong I had to put in a million things of creamer and sugar.. that's the only thing I would say I didn't like too much. The employee's are really friendly too! Definitely recommend coming here!
