I worked with NedSpace for several years and was very happy with the space I rented. The company changed hands a little over a year ago and I have been so disappointed with the lack of communication with the person managing the space. I have left over a half dozen emails, voicemails, and text messages trying to reach them to talk about my account and necessary changes I need to make. No one calls me back. No one emails me. No one even so much as texts. Very unprofessional and very disappointing. I would hesitate joining this group unless you have already established a good chain of communication and have faith that it will continue.
I’ve been working out of NedSpace for a few months now and have truly been blown away by the community here. The owner, Faris, has not only been a great leader of the community, but also a huge help in moving my business forward. If you are looking for a space to build what comes next or just seeking professional community, I highly recommend NedSpace.
NedSpace has been hosting Portland chapter meetings of OWASP (a software security non-profit) for much of this year. They are great hosts with a great space. We get to meet on the 11th floor with views over downtown Portland. They have been generous and easy to work with, and they help us feel very comfortable in the space. Also I appreciate their support for communities of workers with shared interests (like ours.)
I am new to the area and launching the next phase of a start-up, my 5th in the last 25 years. I checked out some of the other options, but kept hearing good things about NedSpace, so I came to a meet-up being hosted here and was impressed. I joined 2 months ago and it's worked out very well. Great location in a first-class space and excellent value. I love the vibe, the people who work out of here, and the staff who support us. It’s a very conducive place to work, connect, do meetings and get things done!
NedSpace is more than just a coworking space—it’s a thriving community where people genuinely help each other grow. From the moment I stepped into NedSpace, I felt the energy of innovation, collaboration, and support. It’s not just a place to work; it’s a place to build something bigger than yourself. The community here is uplifting, filled with people who are not only pursuing ambitious goals but also actively lifting others along the way. Since joining NedSpace, my confidence in networking and my career path has skyrocketed. I’ve connected with incredible people, discovered new projects to work on, and even started attending and hosting my own tech networking events. This space is a catalyst for growth—whether you’re a startup founder, a small business owner, or someone simply looking for a space where everything and everyone is within reach. A huge part of this recent momentum is thanks to Faris, the new manager of NedSpace. Since stepping into the role, he has breathed new life into the space—reviving events, rebuilding the community, and doubling the member count. His passion for growth is evident in everything he does, constantly finding new ways to improve the space and reaching out to bring even more inspiring individuals into the fold. Under his leadership, NedSpace is more innovative than ever before. One of the most inspiring aspects of NedSpace is the members themselves. People like Sarah Faye, who runs Questify Life, are bringing fun and adventure into everyday moments. It’s a place where passion meets action, where ideas turn into reality, and where success is shared. If you’re looking for a space that fuels creativity, ambition, and genuine community, NedSpace is where you want to be.
Nedspace is a great place for entrepreneurs to thrive. I'm in town and needed a space for a FB Live event. Mark and Chelsea were so accommodating. The space is beautiful and the wifi is lightning fast. The location was easy to find and there's a parking garage underneath. I got a chance to chat with Mark and he has a wide range of experience in the small business ecosystem. If I were in Portland on a regular basis I'd have a hot desk here.
I worked out of NedSpace for months and it was a great experience with an amazing group of people! The views and the vibe in downtown Portland were just awesome. Everyone there is extremely kind, inclusive and willing to help.
I normally do not usually write bad Google reviews however the owner tends to say he does nothing wrong yet chaos follows him every where he goes. I know this because he told me this personally while going through his divorce, he said “I did nothing wrong” In divorce situations both parties make mistakes. I tried to work it out with him & his leadership instead two of his leadership stole from me. One he sent to me outside of the space so she could write their systems of operations with my expertise for free. I put boundaries up & have not talked with her again. Then there are the inappropriate sexual comments. He sold me on community & how we do trade, but that wasn’t the case. Two men used my services then verbally attacked me didn’t do their part then touched me. When I reported it I was told to hug it out with the member with touched me inappropriately. One of these gentleman has verbally assaulted other members to. When trying to return the key to him in the lobby of his building so he doesn’t get charge, I wanted him to sign something that said I have returned the key. That is all it said, he refused & was arguing with me saying I destroyed his community. It felt like was ready to fight & argue with me. It felt like he didn’t want proof of return of key. All I ever wanted & asked multiple time was a smooth exit met with silence. From my experience & observation if you are a women this place is not safe and I can’t in good conscience not say anything when men think it is ok to touch women not believe, and tell them to hug the men to hug the man who touched them. That is not how you solve the problem. Then say I wish you the best. From my understanding that is gaslighting. Again I would have preferred to have worked things out with the owner but you can’t work something out with someone who tells you that they do nothing wrong.
This is an amazing co-working space for new start-ups to thrive quickly. The community collaborates with intention, offering a network of skills, resources, and talent all on one floor that overlooks Pioneer Square. Easy access on all Max lines and most buses. This community has accelerated my business just when I needed it and gives me a space to share my own skills and talents.
Such a warm and welcoming coworking space! Huge thanks to the owner, Faris, the staff (especially Audrey), and even the renters, everyone made the vibe feel so friendly and inviting. I’ll definitely be back again!
