NedSpace

I've been a member of the NedSpace community for six years and have benefitted greatly from my participation. The members are welcoming and eager to be helpful. Even while entrepreneurs are working toward personal business results, they seem to always have time to share insights, or offer assistance with others' projects. As long as I live in Portland, I'll be a proud NedSpacer.

One of the oldest shared office spaces in Portland. Solid reputation in the startup community. Mark and Chelsea are exceptionally friendly and helpful. NedSpace addresses diversity and inclusion constantly and is very supportive to people from different backgrounds.

Since joining NedSpace, my business has grown immensely. The space itself is beautiful and centrally located, but the community and relationships I’ve built are invaluable. I've had such a great experience at NedSpace as part of the Creative Roundtable. Aside from the great building in a perfect location downtown, they have a positive vibe and authentic community of co-workers (technical, creative, and professional services). They're always ready to lend a hand, and sometimes even the alumni of NedSpace space jump in to help. I'm not sure where else that happens, but it really impresses me!

I work for a start up in this shared space and it is unbelievable how well all the start ups function within this space; both as individual companies but also in collaborative efforts. Mark and Chelsea, especially Chelsea, work really hard to make this space feel like a cohesive environment. The offices grant you the privacy you need to get your work done, while the shared spaces have such chill vibes and serve as a good break from the routine. The parking is a little tricky, but I commute in every day. I get more work done here than I would at home, or a big corporate office.

One of the best work spaces I have found in SW Portland! Great balance of creative/community co-work space but also private offices and luxurious board rooms available. Really inviting space that has an awesome community feel but also promotes productivity. Very clean, sanitary and respectful shared kitchen space available. If you are like me and messy space will hinder your productivity, then this is where you need to be. Amenities are top notch! Fantastic location in SW PDX as well with everything you can think of within a block or two of easy walking distance. I highly recommend NedSpace.

In 2012, I spent 3 months traveling to co-working spaces across the country. I stopped counting after 25 co-working spaces visited. In returning from my travels, I looked for a co-working space that had a productive energy behind it. A good co-working space provides a healthy mix of professionalism while maintaining a community feel. I've been with NedSpace for over 3 years now and their location on SW Broadway is the most beautiful and complete location I've seen. Of course, I have an office at home, complete with my own standing desk, but when my biggest decision of the workday was whether or not I should put on pants, I knew I made the right decision on working away from home. On top of that, my clients saw me as a professional worth doing business with vs the "let's meet at a coffee shop" vibe that a lot of other freelancers give. My workday requires a mix up of scenery and NedSpace has a great mixture of conference rooms, private meeting rooms, co-working tables, and even a media room complete with cable tv on a HUGE projection screen. So whatever mood I'm in, there is a space to get work done. Mark and the crew behind NedSpace provided me a place where I could jumpstart my "scatter brained" freelancing business and continued to provide the support and direction as I grew professionally into working remotely for a handful of well known companies.

NedSpace is an excellent location for our team. The facilities and technology are top notch, and the staff go the extra mile to help on scheduling, logistics and greeting guests. It’s a great fit for anyone looking for a professional, supportive and downtown workspace.

I work remotely for an East Coast company and I found it difficult working alone at home or in a coffee shop. Then I found NedSpace. I tried other shared workspaces but NedSpace won out for many reasons including cost. But for me the best part of NedSpace is the people. It's really energizing to be around so many active, smart, creative people who are open to both answering and asking technical questions. Mark, Michael and Chelsea provide professional support and genuinely encourage a community of friendly, cooperative and diverse people.

NedSpace is more than a place, it's a community. Mark fosters an atmosphere that encourages members to help one another in whatever business challenges they are facing, while Chelsea superbly keeps everything running smoothly. A great place to work. A great place to create. A great place to thrive.
