I have been a rider of this bus line for pst few years now, and it never ceases to amaze me how low of a standard this organization sets. Granted, it’s a cheap ticket and subpar WiFi make the ride manageable, but there have been a few specific instances where you ask yourself, “why did I take this line again?” For example, while riding on one of their fleets a few weeks ago, there was a gentleman who was getting AGRESSIVELY LOUD on his phone. We were about 40-45 minutes out from where we started, when all of a sudden the bus gets off an exit on the highway and heads back to wheee we started. When we pull back in, its quite clear the guy who was yelling on the phone was going through a custody battle and took his child without (I assume) giving proper notification to the kid’s mom. After about 30-35 minutes of waiting, he got back on the bus and we started all over again. NO REFUND, NO APOLOGY, NOTHING FROM THIS ORGANIZATION but a simple, “yeah, we going now”. Outrageous. There are a few other events similar to the one posted above that have occurred, but I’m not trying to write a full out editorial here. Just know that you get the same service back for the same value (on a regular day) that you pay: less than bare minimum.
Bought a ticket and ending up missing my bus by second. Was told I could board another if I came back in. When I did I come back in, I was informed that I could NOT board another. So I was out $35 and no ride. Customer service is horrible. The cheapness is NO Excuse. The customer is always right!!!
Sometimes during off peak hours you can get fares as low as $12 one way and usually $15 - 20 round trip. Yes, the busses suck, nobody is very helpful and if you are getting from Canal it was very easy to mistake it for the fung wah bus. But its cheap and they don't dilly dally arnd when it comes to driving. The quickest I got from NYC to Boston was 3 1/2 hrs. Again if you really need the customer service, then this bus isn't for you, but now that megabus isn't really $1 (false advertising dipshits) its the best out there for your buck.
Quick Convenient Cheaper Than Other Buses To New York Due To Covid No Food Stop Breaks Anymore Just Straight Point A To B. Be Early Like An Hour Early To Have Your Spot Up N Ready For You Because That Line Will Pile Up. They Do Temp Checks As Well Way Better Than Fung Wah When They Were Up N Running
Oh please people don't expect 5 star ride paying $25 to get from Boston South Station to NYC or back. It saves you plenty of time and money (Compare to Peter Pan) if your destination in NY is in Chinatown or Brooklyn. Just don't expect too much paying that little!
Reliable bus service from New York, especially during the holiday rush when our expectations of chaos and delay didn't materialize at all. Shout out as well to the city of Boston for building a hub for bus transportation.
1pm 12/29 bus left 10 minutes late. Packed bus. Almost waited to leave late to overfill bus. Kudos to this driver for wearing his seat belt
Terrible service ever ,, bus broke down at highway ,, took 5-6 hours to get another bus to pick up to New York . Total 10 hours from Boston to New York City.. …. ……. Call Customer service, nothing respond……..!
they're utter shite and completely unsafe; not to mention the shite attitude of the employees. cheap prices = cheap service; they're actually *WORSE* than fung wah. splurge and use Greyhound or Peter Pan Bus.
They forced us to move to another bus with crying children and without offering two seats together. For no reason just because there were two buses going to the same destination, and they weren't full. And this was for $60 per ticket due to thanksgiving holidays.
