Horrible service with rude staff working there. I bought a ticket for my cousin leaving Boston going to New York on Saturday. However, I was taken to the emergency room on Saturday by ambulance and spent the entire day there. This incident forced my cousin to miss his scheduled departure. The next day, he tried to take the bus going back to New York, the service desk was rude and wouldn't help whatsoever. We tried explaining that I had an emergency but it was obvious that they did not want to listen nor did they care. Due to their lack of caring and understanding, we purchased an even more expensive ticket at an even better bus company. We will be spreading this around and Lucky Star is dead to us. If you want better service, safer bus, friendly staff, go to Megabus or Greyhound.

I took the 3pm bus on October 10 departing Boston to the big apple and the driver (bus #135) wasn't friendly at all. When i got to south station and had questions about my ticket, he was busing on his cell phone than helping customer. Also, no greeting customers when they board bus. He was talking on his phone. Clean bus and free wifi doesn't make up for their lack of poor customer service. I think they forget that customers are the one keeping them in business.

I shouldn't be giving this review since I work for the competition. I won't mention any names. MB Lucky star has come a long way since the old days. Modern Buses with WiFi and outlets. Friendly service, on time buses, clean buses and the most important of all reasonable rates to New York City. I was very impressed when I took a trip to NYC with Lucky Star. My company left me stranded so went with Lucky Star. For a low cost bus service I give it five stars. Keep up the good work Lucky Star.

Had a very BAD experience with this company. We came in on Princess Cruise and took a Boston Highlights scenic and Harbor cruise. The cruise part was great but the company people are rude, unprofessional and not personable. The tour was taped and the tour guide did not speak, the driver had an attitude. She could not get the tape on right spot so when we drove down the street we did not see what was being said. Until we passed it. Would not take a personal trip with then at all!!! We got so fed up, she let off half the bus to walk back, she said just a 20 minute walk back to ship, 3 miles and took 1 hour 15 mins. So disappointed!

The worst transportation system with horrible customer service. The bus didn’t show up and there was information about the bus which I was scheduled to leave on, scheduled for 12:00 pm to New York. I didnt even see the bus, I arrived 45 minutes early to departure but I was told that I missed the bus! There was no information at all, and there were 4 other people who has the same experience, so 5 of us missed the bus because of their carelessness, they didn’t even dare to provide clear instructions. We went to the customer service desk and the guy there was terrible. He made derogatory racist remarks about my looks and when we asked him to bring his manager, he just lied right infront of us. There was a security guy walking by and he just made up a story and told us that the security guy was his boss and made us to talk to the security guy. I asked the security if he works for lucky star and he says he is just a security guard at the bus terminal and that he doesn’t work for lucky star. I confronted the customer service guy that he lied right infront of us. He didn’t provide honest answer and was lying the entire time and making derogatory remarks about my looks and race and was very arrogant- he took off his face mask and just talked to us at the top of his lungs. I still wonder why this kind of guy gets to work as a customer service agent and I hope the company does something about this weird dude, before I proceed with legal actions.

DO NOT TAKE THIS BUS!!!! The bus broke down on the highway at 1:30am and it took an hour for the next one to come. Once we got on the new bus the driver was yelling and screaming in his language for 10 minutes while driving. I sat all the way in the back of the bus and could hear him yelling. Did not feel safe on this bus, I was scared! Because he was angry he was driving way too fast so the ride was not smooth and he kept driving in a way that made the bus swing side to side the entire ride. I FELL OUT MY SEAT at one point!

Posting as a fellow driver on the road, after what I just witnessed. Their bus was weaving through traffic at dangerous speeds in highway with very small margin for error in terms of distance left between cars. Also showed poor situational awareness, such as riding with the left blinker on for extended periods of time while already in the highway's far left lane. Dangerous and potentially deadly driving. May update this to include dashcam footage.

Excellent service, and off course cheap too. At first I was skeptical about its service because it is not a big company and the ticket prices were very low as well. But, I am very impressed with their services after travelling to Boston from New York. I would recommend anyone travelling from Boston to New York or vice versa to chose this company over other so called big companies like grey hound, peterpan etc. Lucky Star is simply the best.

The bus are so nice with best price, but they have to work on with their employees. They are so mean and rude. As a employee you have to be good and friendly to each of your customers. They guy at the desk is so unprofessional. He doesn't know what's doing. Simply, best in price, but bad in customer services
