This was the most pleasant experience I just had flown in from Denver and stopped by for my usual mixed plate. The staff are excellent and so kind, will be returning to this location every time!
Excellent customer service! Very pleasant! First time here in recommendation of our son who once lived in HI and finds your food authentic! Huge portion of food, easy for two to share large dish! Dole soft serve for free by signing up for rewards program! Delicious pineapple/strawberry mix! Pina Colada Icee hit the spot to complete this Hawaiian experience!
I'm a big fan of the other locations so was thrilled when a Northland location was announced. The space looks beautiful and has lots of seating. This is their first day open and the line for lunch was long but moved quickly. The food was great and exactly what I've enjoyed before. They also have a nice parking lot to the east which was my primary concern about the location. Great addition to NKC!
Food is always great and the staff always have a great/positive attitude. Thomas was very helpful and had a very positive vibe and provided excellent service (great guy).
Definitely recommend this place considering it’s one of the very few gems in the Kansas City area that serve Hawaiin barbecue. The macaroni salad was spot on and the chicken sauces we drizzling in flavor. Reminds me of Californian versions of Hawaiin barbecue. Not to mention their soft serve pineapple was by far delicious and not overly sweet. Staff was friendly, beautiful, and seemed ecstatic to be there. They can expect me to come by several times in the near future.
This place was ok, nothing special to me. Kind of like Chinese food with Macaroni. If you get a large they put a layer of rice below your meat selection to make it appear as if you are getting more meat, seems deceitful. The Manager was kind of rude to the customers, she might of been stressed out over the pandemic.
I have never been one to leave reviews but this definitely gave a bad impression. I have worked in customer service for a long time and would never treat a customer like this. I go to order and was met with a blankest expression from the server, never greeted or asked what I would like. It was almost like I was their enemy and they were forced to help me. The entire interaction I received three words from the server, “is that all?” I never got the servers name but on my ticket it says 002 C. Never a thank you or how may I help you. Just a blank face and “is that all”. Then to go to the back to laugh with the coworker. On top of that she gave me the smallest portions I’ve ever received from Hawaiian Bros. Very weird experience overall.
Always a pleasant experience when we visit - we typically order take out and the staff is always super kind and prompt. Everything is always delicious
By FAR the best place I've ever gone to eat! I wish there were more restaurants around so I could go more! If there's any way to convince you to go, it would be that I've driven over 45min (and another 45min on the way home!) just to eat a quick meal. They're delicious and they're not that expensive. Please visit them at least once! EDIT: Thanks to the owner for their kind response! I remembered that I have pictures to share from both of my visits!
Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Especially the macaroni salad - I really didn’t know what to expect when I first saw it, but I could seriously just eat a whole plate of it. It even strangely goes well with the rice, it was just so hard for my boyfriend and I to stop eating. Cant wait to try again!
