Hawaiian Bros Island Grill

Their food is very good and the environment is very Hawaiian. the surf board table is tuff! I like the waves!!!

I first ate here in 2018...this was my first Hawaiian Bros experience anywhere and specifically in North Kansas City. I still look forward to it every time I'm in the area. Nearly nostalgic feeling. Great food and great service!!!

I am from Kansas City - Missouri and the guy was serving me and my friends are so friendly and adorable. Makes the experience ever better. I forgot his name, and I tried to reach the store and no lucky. The location is: 101 Armour Rd North Kansas City - 64116. The guy was there serving us is a white short guy, he is phenomenal and super nice. Thanks for made my experience there ever better. You are the best. ❤️👍🏻

We were in KC and looking for a great place to eat for dinner so we stumbled upon this location of Hawaiian Bros Island Grill. When we went in, we were literally the only customers so to be honest, we were a little nervous. As soon as we walked up to the counter though and was greeted by the pleasant staff, we felt at ease. Since this was our first visit to Hawaiian Bros, we were sure what to expect so as soon as we tasted the food........we were all smiles : ) The food was delicious and we were given plenty to hit the spot. As an added bonus, I got a pineapple dole whip and it was absolutely perfect! Thanks Hawaiian Bros for a wonderful first time experience!

This Hawaiian Bros branch is by far the best!!! Great all around experience. I always get my food fast and it's always hot!!! Customer service is awesome and friendly. I don't go to any other location👍🔥🔥

Went for dinner with my family when we needed something quick. It was great. I do wish they had a larger menu or some more traditional dishes. I was hoping for a Poké bowl. Price was decent for the amount of food. 8oz protein and 2 scoops of rice was around 10$ but sides were a bit overpriced, around 4$ each. The service was great and workers were very nice, they greeted us at the door and said goodbye. The food came super quick and the worker even recommended a cheeper option to us after we said we didn’t like cold pasta, which was nice. Too bad we went while on vacation or I’d definitely return. Wish they had more locations across the states.

I had my birthday dinner here and I had the best birthday experience here! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make my birthday feel special. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and everything came out great. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had, I’ll absolutely be coming back!

This location is always clean and prompt. The employees are polite. It’s got lots of room to sit. However the location consistently over the last year skimps substantially on food. The large and classic plates come out looking the same. They consistently give you half the amount of meat and rice I received historically at other locations and do still receive at some other locations. It seems to he w case of management induced shrinkflation so I started eating elsewhere. They have a thing on the counter telling everyone how many ounces of meat come with each plate so they seem to already be aware of their poor value issues. I received 2/3 cup of rice in a 12$ plate last time I went. It’s like 5 cents of rice. No one needs to get that cheap. It’s not that deep. Chinese food places throw in white rice for free sometimes.

Hawaiian Bros has, without a doubt, the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. We came here exhausted and starving after the FIFA Fan Festival. We specifically chose this place because Google said they were open until midnight, and we wanted to sit down somewhere, relax, and eat a real meal instead of another hot dog on the lawn. We arrived a little after 11 pm, ordered through the kiosk, paid by card, even left a tip (still not sure what that was for since we placed our own order and picked it up ourselves), and selected dine-in because that was important to us. When our food was ready, it came in a to-go bag. We were also told they had run out of one of the sauces. It would've been nice to know that before we paid. We sat down to eat since there were still more than 30 minutes before the posted closing time. A staff member came over and told us we had to leave because they were already closed. We asked, "If you're closed, why are you still accepting dine-in orders?" We never got an answer. She walked away, came back a few minutes later, and interrupted us again to tell us we needed to leave. We even asked, "So... are we supposed to eat in our car? Or at the bus stop?" since the outdoor seating area was already closed too. The only response we got was, "I'm sorry." So we left and ended up eating our dinner on the trunk of our car. To make things even better, they only put one fork in the bag even though there were two of us, so we had to take turns eating. The way we were treated completely ruined the experience. If you're going to accept dine-in orders until midnight, customers should actually be allowed to dine in. I won't be coming back.
