Goodwill Store - Lake Worth

Goodwill Lake Worth smell like Mildew from Leaking Rooftops to Leak in Air condition and the smell of Pit bull Dogs that comes in all the time there always clothes wet and swelling from the leaks and there’s buckets over the store catching the Water leaks. I am allergic to Dogs so I have to leave the store every time , and they are not serves Dogs , just regular dogs that are pets and need a bath there’s Dog Hair all over the Furniture and clothes , I stepped in to a pool of Water from the Air Conditioner if you have allergies don’t shop there , I have pictures of the Dogs and buckets of water over the Makes it easy for Old people to fall and never recover.

This was one of the most organized and cleanest Goodwills I’ve ever been to. It actually smelled good in the store. I’ve never been in a thrift store that smells good. Ever. I will definitely be back to this location. Friendly workers too.

A Caucasian woman with the name tag "trip" was extremely rude to my mother and other foreign individuals, resulting in them thinking she was racist. The worst attitude and it was seen by the customers. She made my mother bag her own items after telling her "if you're gonna buy that much stuff you can help bag it." This is extremely disrespectful. Oct. 3 . 2022 around 2pm-2:30pm.

I bought a couch, and the guys who helped me load it were funny and extremely helpful in getting the couch situated. One of the employees at checkout always makes really corny (yet appreciated) jokes. I always enjoy coming to this location

The prices at these Goodwill stores are ridiculous high way robbery making money off donations. People go there that can't afford Wal-Mart. Thing is the prices at your store is more than Wal-Mart. That is sad. Will not donate or shop at Goodwill again

HORRIBLE UNBELIEVABLE... Been donating here for the Past 25 years. Went today to drop off some furniture and the two workers outside ran inside. Me and my wife try to donate as much as we can to help the people.We are both elderly and I asked for help unloading the donated goods. We were told to unload it ourselves, I was totally shocked. I asked for The manager and a lady named Laurie came and said they did not have to Help. After seeing we were struggling to unload our Donated goods I find this TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Me and my wife have been Donating here to help people for the past 25 years but I can assure you we will not be BACK.

The only problem I had is that I went today( 8-2-2019). I didn't realize till I got back home to springtown that they had charged me 4.99 for a scrub shirt that they had for 1.99. It was with a group of scrubs by the front window instead of with the used scrubs at the back of the store. I even looked at the price that was still on the scrub i bought.1.99. I am only using it in a skit that last about 5 minutes. I will definitely watch them way more closely next time i go there. Check your receipts. This is the first time I didn't check mine and I was overcharged. It won't happen again.

The store is pretty well organized and most of the clothed are in pretty good shape. My only issue is several of the employees are certainly less than friendly. They seem annoyed anytime you ask them a question.

I had a very positive experience at this Goodwill store. The store was clean, well organized, and easy to shop in. The employees were kind, professional, and clearly doing their best to provide good customer service. Unfortunately, while I was there, I witnessed an uncomfortable situation where a customer was behaving disrespectfully toward a cashier, a woman, making inappropriate comments and creating an unnecessary scene. I recognized this individual ( Yulma ) because they have shown similar behavior in other stores as you can clearly see they on all her reviews, always complaining and causing problems over minor issues. It’s unfortunate that people like this try to overshadow the hard work of employees. Customers who bring only negativity and leave unfair reviews do not reflect the true experience of this store. The Goodwill staff deserves respect for the patience and professionalism they show every day. My experience was genuinely positive, and I will continue to support this location. I highly recommend this store and appreciate the great work of its team.

I popped in here briefly to help someone pick up a piece of furniture. I was unimpressed by the complete lack of assistance the guy offered us. He said it wouldn't fit. Period. He said we'd have to return the next day but had a risk of item being returned to the floor w out a refund if we couldn't get back in time. I returned the following day in the same vehicle and had no issue w the item fitting. The first day it was close to closing and I took the last few minutes to look around. Nice size and selection. Good housewares/ furniture section. That's where I met employee #2...a young guy that seemed bothered by my last minute browsing. He watched as I tried to drag a large item to the register in addition to several small items. Not only did he not help me, he said I could come back the next day to get the larger item (Small kitchen chair not really a LARGE item. ) mentioning again that they were about to close. I said 'I'd like to just get it now, just have my hands full, hoping he'd lend me a hand the rest of the way to the cashier. (I was literally dragging the chair) Instead he said I should just come back tom because If I couldn't get my purchases out the door in one trip on my own, I would not be allowed back inside to get what I couldn't carry. I had the kitchen chair, an ashtray, a glass, a picture frame and a small single shelf. (Not a cart full of misc) I couldn't believe he was watching me struggle to the cashier w out helping but even more surprised at his 'if you can't get it out all at once...' my sis was outside in the car so while paying I called her and asked her to meet me at the door to give me a hand. As I walked out & my sis met me the guy immediately scolded her as she took my bag from me at the door saying she couldn't come any further. I have to say it was so rude & over the top dramatic that by this point my sis and I were both trying not to laugh. She quickly realised he was the one who took her call earlier & was not helpful or friendly then either. The worst part was we assumed he was the mgr/ in charge. Now, there was employee #3 I didn't mention yet.. And she was AMAZING. Left the register to help me w my items. She was so friendly, so helpful & made it easy to forget about the previous 2 employees. She carefully wrapped my fragile items & insisted on again helping me get to the door. ( where emp #2 stood w the keys, still not helping... not even holding the door for us) I guess it was the combo of a few great finds & the super sweet & helpful cashier that still made this visit a win/ win despite the two prior interactions. I look forward to returning w more time to really get a look around. I truly appreciate the girl & her great attitude despite the closing time, etc. (Cute girl, small, blondish hair)👏👏👏
