ATTENTION 1, ATTENTION ALL... LAKE WORTH Goodwill store and staff members will go above and beyond to satisfy your needs, wants, and desires. I know it sounds good, but believe me; this statement and the feelings that are behind this statement are as real as a child's love for cartoons, candy, and video games. Aside from the store being one if not the cleanest one I've been to. But the person who makes this all possible and looks like she does it with a smile on her face and heart.... Corie is one of the best people I've ran into in this thing called life. Corie has made my experience at Goodwill one I won't forget and is the main reason why I continue to shop at LAKE WORTH GOODWILL STORE. Corie, thank you for your excellent customer service and personal care experience that has both helped and changed my life. 😊✊🏿💪🏿💯
Overall the store is clean and the staff are very nice. Unfortunately, the ladies bathroom was out of service and there was very little stock on the shelves. This was probably due to the recent hard weather. I'd give them a week or two before going back.
We found lots of good clothes for out boys. Cory checked me out and she was so friendly! She made my shopping experience that much better!
Was enjoying the selection and prices but unfortunately as soon as I was trying on some clothes someone took my basket full of clothes. Although I looked around and even asked some sales associates, they were unsuccessful in finding the basket. This ruined my experience. Would have given 4 stars otherwise.
They are pricing things so high. Some things are priced for more than you can buy them new. I paid $3.00 for this multi colored blanket at Walmart brand new and the towel was really old and faded. I understand having to cover overhead but all these items are donated. It’s getting ridiculous!
This store is probably the worst location of all Goodwill's! They never have a large selection for men's wear. Not to mention store staff is a joke. They are always so rude especially particularly today! I was at the convenient store next door when this woman who looked like she was down on her luck was checking out. She took a really long time but i was patient. When she checked out she had plenty of bills that i saw but counted out a lot of change and had mentioned that she " Always shopping thrifty and with change to save money because my husband and son are very I'll with cancer and losing our house cause we are behind on hospital bills." Well this lady then went to the LAKE WORTH GOODWILL right where I went. She was taking quite some time and definitely looked out of place compared to other shoppers. Well manager came up to her and asked her to leave because they don't know what she is up to but they are sure she is stealing and to leave or they're calling the cops, to not come back. She left and i trailed behind her. She was sitting outside at bus stop crying and when I approached her you could clearly tell she had no purse or bags for compartments to steal and the fitted clothing she wore would reveal anything on body hidden. I asked is she okay and she simply replied that she would never steal from anyone because she has everything she needs....especially as long as she had her husband and son at home, even tho sick, she still had them. I KNOW IM NEVER SHOPPING AT THE LAKE WORTH TEXAS GOODWILL STORE @ 6601 AZLE AVENUE LAKE WORTH, TEXAS ....EVER AGAIN!!!! SHAME THAT STORE
I cant speak to service in the store but dropping off can be an unpleasant experience. Dropoff is not staffed by people persons. More than one of them has made me feel like my donation was a nuisance even though my wife and I try to follow the guidelines. They havent ever offered to help with unloading. The deposit area is chaotic and the staff dont seem to care unless you put a donation in what turns out to be the wrong bin. If you are willing to drive a little further, you probably would have a better experience donating to a different goodwill store.
Wonderful and helpful staff. Not a lot to look through.
I absolutely love going to thrift stores! However they have ruined it, they over price items that they get free. I don’t know about others but I shop here to get good bargains. I might as well shop at Walmart. Would be nice if goodwill would remember the root concept. The two stars are for a clean store and pleasant staff. Update: Thank you for your response and for the link. I understand what y’all do, I simply wanted to express that your pricing is going to high for those you try to help. Perhaps your CEO can cut his salary and this would help the donations go further.
Went in to shop around with my partner and see what good thrifts we could find. Everything was going really well, we were assisted by a lovely employee/cashier. I guess she was lead cashier that day as while she was helping us, she was answering a coworkers questions. I would love to give this experience more than 2 stars, since that employee was so kind and helpful, but unfortunately our experience with a manager at the store is what changed the entire mood. The manager named Laura came around and asked the cashier a personal question. When this specific cashier politely requested not talking about the subject in public, the manager scoffed and seemed to explode at the employee saying she “can’t talk about ANYTHING anymore” in front of the entire store. We apologized to the employee after the manager walked off and said we Couldn’t believe how she spoke to her. The employee still kept her professionalism and brushed it off. Overall, disgusted by Laura’s behavior, as it isn’t the first time we’ve experienced her outbursts.
