Shopping for a new e-bike, so I visited for a test ride. Came back to place an order for a bike with accessories like a rack and fenders. The sales staff didn’t know exactly what kind of accessories but they took my money and assured me they would find out. Two weeks later, I’m told the bike is “ready for pickup” but still has no rack or fenders, and the sales staff don’t have an answer for these accessories! In summary, the sales staff don’t really know their products, they failed to accessorize a bike as I requested, and they still demanded a restocking fee when I declined to take it as-is.
Awesome experience on the jet board! Explanation and instruction was clear and helpful and my husband was up and riding quickly. Such a fun day!
Purchased two Aventon adventure.2 step through fat wheel bikes fully kitted out about 5 months ago, they’ve been great. Managed to get the Austin electric rebate, which the Surf Co folks helped out with, so the bikes were a good deal (although Aventon’s accessory’s, like mirrors & saddle bags & straps, etc are cheap plastic that break, go with a third party with metal/higher quality materials). Surf Co has also let me drop by and fill up my tires on my scooters (purchased elsewhere) for free, and given good advice on maintenance. Highly recommend this place. If you’re in doubt about an ebike, scooter, etc., just keep weighing the pros/cons and I bet you’ll eventually buy :D. These toys are so much fun and you don’t have to worry about parking, or gas, or insurance…
Well run, knowledgeable and super friendly, Electric Surf Co has a great selection of quality e-bikes and watercraft. We rented e-bikes for the weekend and enjoyed so much more of Austin outside!
Wanted to shout out the staff at this place! Everyone there is super friendly and helpful and communicative. Helped me out a lot in deciding on an amazing e-bike (Aventon Level 3 highly recommend) and I didn't feel pressured or rushed at all! Let me explore and try things out which was important cause I'm a newbie to e-bikes. Also, I got into a wreck and the technician got me all fixed up by next day (super quick turnaround) and gave me a really fair price. Highly recommend this store!
The delivery took more than 2 weeks, and in the end, I received the wrong helmet. One of the employees assured me that this was a normal delivery time, although when I called earlier, another person from this store admitted that something was indeed wrong and that the delivery service was taking unusually long to pick up the item from the store. I order a lot of products online, and I’ve never experienced such slow delivery before — even items from Hawaii arrive much faster. I do not recommend buying from this store online.
First Onewheel ride with Ford was great!! Thanks for your patience and literal support and for not letting go when I needed you! The Onewheel is so fun, I’m excited to progress and get more independent.
I went into the shop to look at different electric bikes. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me make a great, informed decision on a big purchase! I’ve had my Aventon bike for about two months. I took it in for a tune up after taking my bike to burning man. (If you are unfamiliar, it’s dusty and the alkaline dust can rust things super quick). They had my bike in and out same day.
I had to repair a Hiboy scooter. The brakes were jammed. I scheduled an appointment smoothpy from their website. It was a minor fix and they only took 5 minutes to fix it. Did not charge me at all. Very humble staff!
I bought an efoil from efoil LA about a year ago and took to Electic Surf Co in Austin for yearly service. They worked together to figure out warranty for service issues. I appreciate all they did to help me out and want the community to know these guys are great to work with. I highly recommend them. These guys deserve to be supported by our community!
