Delicious square pizza! Drinks were delicious my boyfriend got the mango Arnold Palmer frozen drink and I had the lemon drop frozen drink. The godfather II (minus the Calabrian chili- I’m a wimp) is incredible
First visit, absolutely loved this experience. I usually have a thin crust pizza but these Detroit style pizza are awesome good!!. Filled with cheese and toppings edge to edge, hot, crispy, cheesy goodness. Very impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean and had great ambiance. Go there, get a pizza, you won't regret it!!!!
Very delayed review, but my friend and I dined in on Halloween to finally try here. The decor was super cute, and I loved the old-time movie monsters playing on the wall. I ordered the meatballs and ricotta appetizer to start, and it was excellent. There wasn’t as much ricotta as the image online had. Very minimal and would have liked more, but it was still delicious. The garlic bread with it was delicious. For my pizza, I got the mighty Quinn since I was in the mood for a white pizza. It was good. Not my favorite, but still good. It reheated well, too. I have my eye on another pizza that looks good, so I’ll have to come back in and try it. Love a pizza place close by to the house! Everyone working was super sweet and the food came out quickly. Cool vibes.
The ricotta has a slight citrus tang to it which was nice! The Sicilian style crunch had the perfect crunch and the toppings were all so fresh and flavorful. I was skeptical of trying this place after it took over the movie theatre but it really is great food. There are many more things I am eyeing to try next time!
electric dough {san marco} stopped here for lunch this week and it was very good. i had been craving pizza for a while and chose this as my bday lunch celebration. it is an order at the counter situation (which i do like to know that beforehand). grabbed a menu and had a seat to look over everything. we saw there was a lunch special of a slice, caesar salad, and drink for 12.99, so that is what i went with. also added an order of the pimento cheese dip. first, the pimento cheese was extraordinary!! so creamy and so tasty! the bread was great as well that was served with it. that alone will bring me back! the lunch special was just right! the salad was perfect! i loved that the crouton was more of a crumb! i love croutons but sometimes they are too big, you can’t pierce them with the fork ect, so the crumb effect gives you the crouton with out the bulk. the pizza was perfect! just what i was looking for! it is like a pan pizza type of pizza…very good. they have a special drink line by tractor. all the choices were so good (i sampled everyone the passion fruit was a top choice) there were carbonated drinks juices and teas. highly recommend checking them out! today is their 1 year anniversary as well! they host trivia on wednesdays and have happy hour as well!
I thought the prices were reasonable, the service is as good as a teenager could give and the pizza and salad were fantastic….. the cleanliness on the other hand. Did Covid teach us nothing? Why is the silverware on all of the tables all facing up.. people talk across the table , people sneeze, many don’t wash their hands and children touch everything. Why on earth is that acceptable? I know that other places have their silverware in a self service stations but the handles of the silverware are facing upwards so when a customer reaches for one they don’t contaminate all of them. The self serve plates were also questionably clean. Also this big dog was sitting in a booth instead of the floor and no one reprimanded the owner…. Concerning since the silverware for the next customers are already at that table. If they fixed this they would have a loyal customer!
After theater matanee wanted a light dinner. Electric Dough was new to us but friends told us it wouldn’t be like regular pizza. Had to order at the counter and the clerk must have been inexperienced and was relatively unhelpful. We specifically stated that we don’t like anything spicy hot which eliminated many choices. Our choice was mostly a 5 cheese pizza. The dough was terrific.topping was fantastic but as warned not at all like regular pizza. A medium was too much for 2 people and brought some home.
Great atmosphere, beautiful food, and great service. I got the Detroit Baller 8in by 8in pizza for $20 and shared it half and half with someone. I believe our party's total was about $85.00 + Tip including 3 medium pan pizzas and drinks. Nonetheless, dishes' quality and the presentation were spectacular. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that the place doesn't have staple fountain drinks, only fruit mixtures/teas. They give free self-serve refills though, I'll give it that. Also the portion sizes aren't for the working man and are a bit pricy for what they are, but then again it's San Marco, everything is up-charged there no matter the business. Overall a great place to visit with amazing food, but be prepared to use a fair chunk of change.
Absolutely loved this restaurant! I got the “Some Like It Hot” and the flavors DELIVERED. Topped it off with some Hazelnut Crunch gelato. Highly recommend!
Great experience at Electric Dough on a Friday for lunch. Ordered at the counter, seated ourselves, and food/drinks came to us in a timely manner. We split the Godfather Part 2 and both got an old fashioned (or two). The pizza is not like normal pizza more like really good bread with pizza toppings but it was excellent. The drinks were well made, better than most of the bars and restaurants in the area. $2 for ranch was our only gripe but doesn’t take away from the overall excellent experience. This may be our new go-to pizza spot.
