Dott Boss

We spent the weekend in KC and happened to stop in for breakfast on our way back home. Sanjuana had a full house and was so gracious and treated us like we were the only people in the restaurant. I had the polenta. Hard to find gluten free vegetarian options and it was glorious. The coffee is premium, Parisi Brothers. This Place is a hidden gem.

Landed in KC from Minneapolis early Friday morning and we got brunch at Dott Boss. Adam was out bartender and he was as friendly as could be, extremely welcoming and made us feel as though we had been coming there for years. Biscuits and gravy were top notch, super fluffy biscuits. We also got some breakfast tacos and they were superb. We met a patron there who mentioned going to the KC Royals baseball game that night and that ended up being our evening activity. Then Sunday morning came and we were deciding on food for brunch. No doubt in my mind that Dott Boss was the way to go, yet again 😎 When we got there it was much busier than the Friday prior but that made no difference to our experience. Adam was once again behind the bar and he not only remembered us but grabbed our drinks without us having to utter a word. Greeted with a smile and a sense of home, we tossed back a few drinksbefore I ended up ordering the Shrimp and Grits Benedict. Absolutely phenomenal!!!!!!! My partner in crime got the biscuits and gravy again because it was THAT good. So yeah, 10/10 would recommend coming to Dott Boss for breakfast/brunch whether KC is your hometown or if you're like us and just were in town for a visit. Adam, if you ever see this, let it be known you've got a customer for life 🤗 I hope we cross paths again! Thanks yo you and the Dott Boss crew for an awesome dining experience!

My friend and I loved our dinner, she had steak tips and I had a cavatappi with creamy pesto sauce. The place is stylish and beautiful. The service was very attentive and friendly; the chef even greeted us during our meal. My one disappointment was that they had no fresh pepper grinder for the restaurant.

The most magnificent infused cocktails I have ever had. My waiter Rabel was so friendly and helpful, and even the chef came to check on me to make sure I liked my meal. The food came insanely fast and the street tacos were perfect. One thing I don't enjoy at many restaurants and diners is being checked on every five minutes, because I feel like I'm being rushed out of the seat. I like to take my time and savor not just the food but the experience and my surroundings as well, at Dott Boss I didn't feel rushed and although my waiter checked in to make sure the food and cocktails were to my liking, he gave me space and time to relax.

Awesome atmosphere! Breakfast was a little inconsistent. The first day everything was overcooked: bacon, eggs, and potatoes. The second, everything was perfect. Try the mimosa.

Exceptional foods and drinks and a lot of menu items to choose from. Lucas, Lauren, Emily, Jill, Nichole, Nancy and sorry if I missed any other names, are doing a phenomenal job here.

In town for a wedding staying at the Hotel Indigo. Was hesitant to visit a restaurant attached to a hotel. I should not have been... We had brunch there and were very satisfied. The service was excellent. We ordered the French toast and the breakfast sandwich. We were pleasantly surprised. The French toast was the best we've had in years and the sandwich was great. The sandwich came with an egg, and mine was a perfectly cooked over medium as I ordered. I highly recommend Dott Boss when you're downtown.

Food was lovely and the service was fast, pleasant and attentive. Excellent experience!

Our experience at Dott Boss was wonderful! My family ate breakfast there and we were all extremely pleased with the food and options. The coffee and ingredients were very fresh. Our experience was made even better by our server Juanis! She was a true delight! We are eager to go back to try out their dinner options.

It is not surprising to me that Lucas and the rest of the staff at Dott Boss are raved about in the rest of these reviews! The folks at this restaurant took excellent care of me during my stay at Hotel Indigo. The food and drinks were great, but the kindness, thoughtfulness, and attentiveness of the staff were above and beyond. Thank you!
