Decent hotel restaurant. Good service and food. The Steak Tips were great, but the accompanying Loaded Mashed Potatoes were cold when they arrived at my table. How'd for better.
I must admit that I rarely write reviews. However, I feel I needed to share my experience with Lucas, a server, bartender, and waiter who truly stands out (he did it all). Lucas went above and beyond to ensure that everyone he encountered had a wonderful time. He was attentive to everyone who walked in, and I was in awe of his ability to handle everything with ease. Lucas recommended a delicious meal for me, the creamy summer pesto chicken pasta, and some excellent bourbon. If you ever visit K.C., be patient and give Lucas a chance to show you what he’s made of. You won’t be disappointed!
We were staying at a lesser hotel that didn't have a working bar, so when we needed to find some place to have a relaxed dinner, we ended up at Dott Boss. First off, Blue was a treasure. Extremely friendly and provided great service. As for the rest, the drinks were good. We had a Charcuterie Board and it was an interesting flavor and adventure. We did eat the whole thing. The atmosphere was great, and the booths were comfortable. It was well lit and overall a great expience. Thinking of skipping out on our lesser hotels breakfast to enjoy Dott Boss again.
Brittany was our server. What a delightful young lady! Bubbly, professional and couldn’t do enough to make our experience a good one. Our party had four different breakfasts which all were done to perfection. Hot coffee was plentiful also. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, fresh and airy. A minor issue for management but the door on the side of the restaurant has the opening hours on it but was locked. There was no reference to advise that the entrance was located on the Main Street and through the building lobby. It would be helpful to customers to note the entrance so they don’t miss any potential customers. Otherwise, a wonderful experience!
I’m normally easy to please, and I will look over alot when it comes to a restaurant. There was only one other couple in the whole restaurant. I ordered coffee, and it was not even luke warm. I asked if I could get some different coffee, and the waitress brewed a new pot. She said what she brought me had been siting for a long time. The next pot she brought me was hot, but as I poured it, it was the color of tea and was like drinking water. I ordered the All American Breakfast, the pancake was raw in the middle, the potatoes were undercooked, and the bacon tasted like it had been deep fried in old oil. The waitress was very sweet, but the food and attention to detail was terrible. Won’t eat here again. $25 for this terrible breakfast.
Very nice restaurant that is technically part of the Indigo hotel, but you wouldn’t know it and it is so much better than typical hotel restaurants. Service was awesome. Adam our service/bartender was very friendly and chill. I highly recommend!
Turning away business while your restaurant is visibly at half capacity is a wild business practice. Hire more staff or don’t open/advertise for brunch. Will take my business elsewhere for sure!
The food at Dot Boss was immaculate, delectable and only over shadowed by the impeccable service. I absolutely recommend that anyone should treat themselves to this amazing restaurant.
Traveling for work and decided to go here for dinner. The light side salad and chickpea dish with salmon were perfect options for a lighter dinner. The chickpea dinner had a silky peanut sauce and light veggies. Lauren was a great waitress and the restaurant was quiet. Highly recommend!
The farm to table is evident in the quality of everything from the eggs to the bacon to the cream! Service was good even with the busy morning crowd. Get the breakfast potatoes you won't be disappointed!
