I got married at Brick and Beam two months ago, and unfortunately due to my photographer getting sick I'm just getting to post these beautiful photos. My husband and I cannot imagine having been married anywhere else. The staff was wonderful and helpful, on a rainy day they managed to flip the set up very quickly when the rain cleared to allow our outdoor ceremony. The venue itself is beautiful and fit our fantasy theme perfectly. I felt confident and well taken care of and I will be singing their praises probably forever.
When we first toured the venue we fell in love with the exposed brick, the old Jacksonville charm, and the flexibility of the floor plan. Ashley (Event Manager) was a dream to work with! She maintained constant communication, had answers to all of our questions, and was supportive of our vision and goal for our Intimate Wedding! This venue is a fantastic option in downtown Jacksonville and one that we are truly looking forward to returning to!
Where do I even start with this review of Brick and Beam? I was looking for the perfect venue for my son's rehearsal dinner in Jacksonville and believe it or not finding a restaurant or venue that can hold 50-60 people in a private space, that would allow or offer a full bar, where you could choose your own musician/music style, etc. is not an easy task. During all this research, I discovered Brick and Beam, and they were still under remodel/construction at the time. From the moment I contacted Ashley, who is amazing and one of the most professional event planners ever, I felt confident this would be the space. We were able to set up a site visit during the construction phase and with the approval of the bride and groom to be, the key family members and the wedding planner, we immediately took a leap of faith and booked this spot. BEST decision ever! The evening was perfect! The outdoor area is great for cocktails and music complete with a fire pit and then you have the entire inside to decorate as you see fit and really enjoy. I wanted a vintage southern feel and that is exactly what we were able to create here. My son designed his party favor koozie and we built the table settings and theme around that and the venue. Ashley and her team are amazing! She has a lot of experience in the business and can give you great suggestions on EVERYTHING. She actually recommended the caterer we used. I have relationships with a lot of restaurants on the First Coast area through my business career and it was one I would not have thought of for catering this type of event. They, too, were fabulous. The space is secure (yes, I questioned that many times) and honestly one of the best laid out venues like this that I have seen in this city. If I had another private event like this (my son that was married in December does have a twin brother) or any need for a space like this personally or professionally, Brick and Beam would be the first place I would choose.
My son got married here. It was a great location, plenty of parking for the guests. Indoor - outdoor. Special day in a great location. Alaina was great! Worked hard to be sure that everything was just right.
This has to be the best venue in the world! To begin Alaina from start to finish was super communicative, her customer service is like no other and it really felt like home. She welcomed us during the initial tour cracked a few jokes and showed us around the beautiful facility. From that moment I knew this would be where we wanted to have our event. We used the facility for a surprise birthday dinner and I really don’t know what to say but Uncommon hospitality! From giving us ideas on layouts and assisting in any way you could thank you! Thank you for going over and beyond Alaina you don’t understand how much this meant to me, my best friend and her family thank you!
We got married at Brick and Beam last week and it was perfect. The venue itself is gorgeous and the staff is fantastic. We can’t recommend this venue enough. From touring, to signing a contract and then final planning meetings communication was stellar and they answered every question we had.
This is, hands-down, the best venue you could host your wedding. Not only is it beautiful and spacious, but the staff are incredibly helpful and happy to make your day special. We had so much support from Alaina and we're so grateful to each of their staff members for helping make our wedding day wonderful!
We had our wedding here in January! It was the perfect spot! Very cozy and intimate space. It was the perfect feel for my boho wedding. We had so much fun! I HIGHLY recommend.
The most amazing wedding venue. The venue manager Alaina is so helpful and patient. This space was perfect for our wedding. The lighting in there could make anything look aesthetic. Being able to use some of their pieces made the evening perfectly eclectic. I recommend having your event here 1000%
Go see Brick and Beam, you will not be disappointed! When my we first began searching for a wedding venue, we were quickly discouraged by venue packages. Other venues had less personalization with a very hefty price tag. We definitely wanted an open bar and fun food, but weren’t interested in the three course meal and bar packages that venues were offering. We came across Brick and Beam on instagram and were quick to send them a message. Ashley the venue director was fast to communicate, kind, and passionate about the venue. We toured and were quite enthralled with the outdoor patio and the high ceilings and brick walls. Most of all, we loved how the team at Brick and Beam fully supported us making the venue “our own”. We fell in love with this space and knew it was where we wanted to celebrate with friends and family! For our wedding, we were able to bring in our own full bar services as well as cater gourmet pizza from a local restaurant in town. We used Brick and Beam’s tables and chairs and then brought in all our own decor which made a really great space for our guests. Ashley was always incredibly accommodating and helpful, working well with our coordinator team to create our wedding day itinerary. She didn’t miss a beat with arranging for a tent rental when it decided to rain on our wedding day. The flow of our wedding was completely stress-free and we can thank the Brick and Beam Team for playing a key part in that. We loved our wedding venue (and so did our guests!) and we would recommend Brick and Beam to everyone.
