Stopped in for a late lunch on a weekday. Chill atmosphere and friendly service. The Reuben was tasty and good for what it was (sliced deli meat) but doesn’t compare to the house made shredded corned beef I’ve had elsewhere. I’ll be back for lunch again or post work drinks! Note, the sandwiches are competitively priced but don’t come with anything. The “sides” are $1.50.
Great bar and restaurant over on strawberry hill! Great prices and friendly staff. I had the italian, and it did not disappoint! They stop serving food kind of early in the evening, so make sure it's not too late! That being said, If you're in the area it's totally worth the stop!
Breit’s is such a great local place to stop for a drink and sandwich. The Reuben is THE BEST in town!! They have indoor seating and a cute little outdoor seating area.
This was the first time I have eaten here and it was great! I enjoyed excellent food and service on the patio out back with my cousins. Highly recommend!
Great spot. Just moved in to the area and I have a feeling I’m going to be here a lot. $7.95 for their sandwich of the day with a side is nearly impossible to beat these days. Especially when it’s quality like this. Bartender Nancy was very friendly and the place wasn’t crowded, able to get a spot at the bar easily after lunchtime.
Home town feel Breits is a home away from home kind of place. We went on a Sunday. The bartender Tony is so friendly and attentive. There is no way you would expect the sandwichs to be so big and tasty if you saw kitchen. It's small and makes great sandwiches and sides. I had the tuna salad sandwich. I can't wait to order it as a wrap. Definitely get the reuben. I tasted my husband's and it was on point. We got all the sides. The macaroni and potatoe salads are true to KC style. There is no lack of charm with this place. The crowd on a Sunday afternoon was that of your typical neighborhood bar. Quaint, cozy and friendly. Outdoor space is large and plenty of room for outdoor activities. I can't wait to see what the new owners have in store for this place. They did an amazing job of keeping the original space as it was! And the black and tan is cold and poured perfectly.
It’s a nice spot with great food and a decent price! Their patio is dog friendly and they offer private parking for customers. I had the Italian sub and it did not disappoint!
It'd been a while since I'd been here and since it was a nice sunny afternoon I decided to stop by for lunch and sit outside on the back patio. The service by the staff was swift and friendly and I especially enjoyed the Reuben sammich with my beer. The homemade potato salad also gave it that picnic feeling vs a lunch feeling. I will definitely be stopping by more often.
This little gem of a neighborhood deli is incredible. The sandwiches were the best we have had in a long while. The service was fantastic. Highly recommend
