This is the neighborhood pub that all neighborhoods need. The sandwiches are incredibly cheap at under $7 as of August 2024. The Italian is so good, but all the sandwiches come loaded with fillings. They're perfect before, after, and with an Irish beer from the bar. Seating is available inside and outside out back. There's also a free jukebox. There's a veggie sandwich plus multiple sides.
I'm a food guy, especially corned beef/reubens. Breit's sandwiches are really good, and they are only $6.95!!! I pay that for a Big Mac back home! I had a reuben and a Joe's Italian. Both were excellent. Very friendly crowd and staff. Next time in KC, I'm going back!
Delicious food. I had the Pastrami sandwich and my wife had the Ruben sandwich. They both were so good. I got the Mac salad and she got the potato salad. Very good as well. Definitely going to back and try some other food
Do you love a good Reuben sandwich? It's my favorite sandwich of all time and this place serves up the best one I've ever had, and I've been eating them for 40 years now! A cousin of my friend recommended Breits and I'm so glad he did. I was visiting town and even though it was quite a drive to get to Breits, we wound up going back a second time just for that ruben and it did not disappoint the second time either! I love the atmosphere of the place, the staff are super friendly and the owner compiled the music track that plays and that does not disappoint either. Great food, great music, and a great staff - who can ask for more?
watched the cook/bartender handle my food with the same gloves he handled another customers credit card. Makes me wonder what else those gloves have seen. Just change your gloves. Food looks good but i lost my appetite, so in the trash it goes.
Seems like a local bar but with surprisingly good food! I love their Reuben’s and potato salad!!! Prices are super affordable and food quality is consistently good. Best Reuben’s I’ve had! Great place to stop for business lunch.

Wow, this is a great dive bar. Stop by on a Sunday afternoon and had a great experience.I had their famous Reuben sandwich. It was a really simple sandwich but taste great. The lady bartender that waited on us was great and friendly. Great little dive bar.
Dude sitting at a table with friends said "Get the Reuben" as I walked in. He was not wrong lol. Old school KC local bar vibes with some awesome sandwiches and genuine service. Don't come here if you're looking for some hipster foody joint, this ain't it. But if you want to have dinner drinks with friends and low key damn good food then this is your place.
