This is the kind of place that you almost hate to give a good review because you don’t want anybody else to find out about it. But good food good people good booze.
I really don’t want more people to know about Breit’s but it is a gem of a place. Great spot to grab a pint or a bite to eat.
Stopped in for a mid-day beer and lunch. Staff was super chill. Made our sandwiches right in front of us. My buddy had the ruben. I had the pastrami. DELICIOUS. Good atmosphere and conversation with the bartenders. Spot on. Will be back.
KC Reuben was off the chain. Best sandwich I've had in a long time. In and out in 30 minutes, which is great if you're working in the area.

We always enjoy Breit’s! Their reuben’s are the best in town. Jack is a true artist at making sandwiches. The staff is friendly and so welcoming. This is a hidden gem in the historic Strawberry Hill neighborhood in KCK.
My first time here. Went with a friend on a week day for lunch. We sat at the bar and got some background on the former owner and history of the bar. I had the pastrami on rye. The pastrami is sliced thin and piled on. Comes with chips or macaroni salad. The menu has a variety of choices and in this time of high prices everything on the menu is reasonably priced. Lots to choose from and sandwiches to make. I had an Arnold Palmer to drink. The macaroni salad is average and the AP was so so. The sandwich was fantastic. I look forward to going back and trying other offerings. The bartender is nice and engaging. Service is quick and friendly. Give this place a try. You do and my guess is you'll go back.

Craving a Reuben got it wow so gross!!! Lesson learned! Potato salad same way definitely not want I wanted waste of money. Was not just the look of it this was not a Reuben no kraut and not the same meat tasted like cheap deli meat. When I hear Reuben I expect what it is this is a version that has been made but definitely not a Reuben
I usually take pictures but ate food too fast. The best reuben I've ever had, most flavorful sub too. Outside of Katz deli in NYC, NOBODY is touching this reuben....a true gem of a place. They also must serve alot of Guinness as it was a perfect pull. None fresher outside of Dublin, and I've had my share of Guinness!!!!
