Nice brewery off the Main Street. The light lager was good. Service was great!
Nice little tap house. Bartender seemed friendly, but was spending a lot of time with a group that was at the bar. Beers were very good, would definitely recommend visiting.

Went in tonight for a drink and was told by the bartender that they were 'closed for now' maybe around 9. I was still in the area about 15 mins later and watched the people who were walking in front of me walk in so I assumed they had worked out whatever issue there was and was told again that we couldn't come in because they were closed. Not sure if it was a private party but they were clearly not closed, there were almost a dozen people inside still being served. This is not the first time something like this has happened at this location either. Even when the downtown location is open, after about 9 or so they start to stare at you and make you feel like you're bothering them. Not sure why this location has such different service than the other but I feel unwelcome about 50% of the time here. I'll just stick to the Roselle location where I've never felt unwelcome. I will say the newer bartender is much more welcoming, he wasn't there this evening.
I have loved the Bold City Brewery for quite a while now. A local Jacksonville family making great beer for our community. This was my first visit to the downtown facility and it didn’t disappoint. Great company, sound advice on beer choices and good discussions about Jacksonville punk rock. After a few beers we took a walking tour of downtown I inspecting all of the cool places that are starting up. Then we went back for a few more beers. So glad this place is less than 2 miles from My house in Springfield
I love this place! Only $4 for local crafts. I tried their IPA, it was hoppy rich
In the words of Toby Keith: "I love this bar!" Like every craft tap room I have visited, the atmosphere is pleasant. Not all tap rooms actually have brewing equipment in the service area, which is a nice touch. The bartender Damion, is a great guy and a good conversationalist. If you enjoy craft beer (and you should), I highly recommend this place!

Had a Duval light beer that was cold, refreshing, and delicious! Great spot to sit down before going to the show next door! Very inviting!
Stopped by last night after a show at the Florida Theater. Sam served us and was absolutely fantastic!
